I wonder if they will bring mask mandates back now that orange country mayor is recommending reinstating it ?

I don’t think the country as a whole would go back to mandatory mask-wearing.

I’m glad my family won’t be the only ones wearing masks in August! My husband and I are both vaccinated, and so is our 13 year old son, but of course our 11yo and 9yo aren’t. I was disappointed when the indoor mask requirement was lifted alongside increased capacity and no social distancing. And now with rising cases…… We went in May before the major changes, and felt very safe.This August trip feels very different.

Same. We went in March and felt very safe. No one caught ANYTHING, not even a regular cold. It was great. We go to Disneyland in 10 days and will mask and we also go to WDW this fall and will likely be masked unless cases start going back down again.

Since the CM mask policy has been in place now for over a month and many have been discussion covid in violation of the policy in place since JUNE 6, 2021, well before this thread was started, this thread is now closed. Quite a few posts have been removed from this thread.
