Outdoor Mask Requirement Lifted June 18th - Cast Members

Cast Members will no longer need to wear any face coverings if vaccinated starting June 18th, 2021, according to BlogMickey and Cast Members in the park.


"Starting June 18th, Cast Members who are fully vaccinated and working in outdoor roles will no longer be required to wear a face mask. Face Masks will still be required in indoor locations for all Cast Members regardless of vaccination status. There is no change for Cast Members who are not fully vaccinated – they must continue to wear face masks everywhere."

I spoke with a CM this afternoon at AK in Dinoland and she was so happy about the masks. She said that the rumor among staff is that the lifting of the mask indoors for CM will be very soon as well.

My CM daughter who is a leader also mentioned that lying on a company document is grounds for dismissal. I hope everyone is being honest.

The company that I worked for really can't ask you if you have been vaccinated. You have to tell them. If you do not want to tell them you do not have to, they then assume that you have not been vaccinated and you have to follow all of the rules for unvaccinated employees.

It is kind of like companies that say if you are a smoker you can't work for them.

My company returned full time June 1st. We've been part-time telecommuting since June 15, 2020, although some employees got to telecommute full time.

We've been told the same as you @DebbieB. Fully vaccinated do not have to wear masks, except around unvaccinated people. Unvaccinated have to wear masks all the time. We talk about vaccination status a lot amongst our smaller group (four satellite offices) so we know who is vaccinated and who isn't. So, if we close the door to our office, the vaccinated folks can take their masks off until the unvaccinated need to come into the individual office for a meeting, etc. We all have our masks handy in the office too.

I don't believe they will until it's actually an order, if it ever is. It won't matter to us. We'll be masked indoors on our trip at the end of the month regardless of local recommendations.
