The P Part of PTR​

Jumping out from lurking behind the scenes to start this PTR/TR as we leave in 4 days.

Who?

What?
Our first real vacation since our Honeymoon (a year and a half ago).

Where?
Disney's POP Century Resort - 4 Days at Walt Disney World Parks and 1 Day at Universal's Islands of Adventure

When?
We leave on the Red Eye on May 1, stop off in Boston for 12 hours to visit with Grandma and will be at WDW from May 2-8.

Why?
Well... we really wanted to visit Grandma, but really wanted to have a new experience together and we have been to Boston so many times so wanted a new adventure.

How?
Once we decided on a new adventure and that with DH's CM discount a trip to WDW was more affordable than a cheapie/Carnival cruise. So we decided to make it happen and booked and made our first payment 3 months ago.

A Little More on the "Who?"


Michael and I live in Orange County, pretty much right smack in the middle of it, and have been DL passholders and even had one of our first dates on Christmas Day at DLR (probably won't be going back on Christmas Day anytime soon though). But now DH is a CM and works at DLH! YAY DISNEYLAND WHENEVER I WANT!

Marissa or MKissa just about EVERYWHERE on the internet. I'm an avid crafter and love fandom crafting as well. I am a true geek at heart and love all things Disney, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Doctor Who and Buffy (just to name a few of my obsessions). I work in restaurant management and love to be served as a result of such and am really looking forward to our Disney Dining Plan.

Caught the MAN snoozing at Mickey's house... this is pretty much what he looks like at home too.

DH works at the Disneyland Hotel in food services, which like me, leaves him really excited about being wait on and eating lots of fun new foods at lots of new restaurants.

Dinner - We have an ADR at Kona but I am trying daily to get one for 'Ohana instead.

Saturday, May4 - Animal Kingdom Day
Breakfast - at POP (Probably just some Cliff Bars and Coffee in the room)
Lunch - Flame Tree BBQ
Pre dinner beer at ESPN Lounge to watch the Kentucky Derby
Dinner - ADR at Le Cellier

Sunday, May 5 - Universal Islands of Adventure Day
Breakfast - at Everything POP
Lunch - Unknown
Dinner - Unknown (Looking for a cool place to eat in between Universal and WDW)

Monday, May 6 - Epcot Day
Breakfast - at Everything POP
Lunch - Flower and Garden Festival Booths
Dinner - ADR at Chefs de France

Tuesday, May 7 - Hollywood Studios Day
Breakfast - Thinking maybe Starring Rolls
Lunch - ADR at Sci-Fi Dine-In
Dinner - Wolfgang Puck CS

Wednesday, May 8 - Departure Day (Our flight doesn't leave until 6:30p)
Breakfast - ADR at Kona

When you eat Breakfast at POP... if you are paying OOP, I HIGHLY recommend getting the kid's waffles!! There's nothing like eating a Mickey waffle!! they are SO MUCH better than the bigger Pop waffle! And the syrup spreads so much better on the Mickey heads!!! And they don't care if you are an adult buying a kid's breakfast...nobody keeps track of that stuff! Anyway, just thought I'd share that! I love their Mickey waffles!
