I've never done a trip report before and I will try not to bore you but
if you bore easily you might as well close out of this thread :rotfl2:

Here’s the scoop, hubby will be coming home from Iraq for
two weeks before he has to return for another 4 months and
we have decided to spend one of those weeks in Disney!
We had such a hard time deciding where we would stay
but after a lot of debating and the input we received
from our friends here and on other boards we decided he wouldn’t
mind jumping from one sand box to another and so Poly it is!

Out of one sandbox to another!
~Iraq to Poly Pre trip report~

* What will we celebrate? every birthday and holiday we missed together!
* Dates June 22nd-27th
* 5 nights 6 day park hoppers w/dining

*Who are the cast members?

“Our family”
Of course me!! Joi/Ioi
We didn’t do trips to Disney when I was a child so my first trip to Disney wasn’t until 2000 at which time I vowed to make of for lost time! Been going at least once a year since (usually more though).

DH/David/Kawike (The love of my life)
His first trip to Disney was in 1976 and he didn’t return until 2003 but once he did he fell in love with it all over again and let me just say I am not one of those Disney fanatics that has got to beg her hubby to go! Now getting him on TOT again is another story!:confused3

DS/Taylor/Kailolu
age 18 If any of you watch the live streaming you might remember him from our trip in March to Coronado Springs as the crazy dancer who really has no shame! He definitly brings life to any occasion! He is my partner in crime when it comes to planning our trips! His best friend will be coming on this trip with us and they are both out there so this should be an interesting trip!

DD/McKenna/Makakena
age 14 Her first trip to Disney was at age 5 and every since has talked about moving to Orlando when she is older just to be near Disney! She is my sweet, quiet and sensitive child, her best friend will also be joining us on this trip and she is loud and not so sensitive (they really balance each other out)…

Our dear friends
Our oldest daughter married their oldest son, sadly neither of them will be joining us on this trip.
(free dog sitters though!)

DF/Glenn/Kaleni
This is our pastor but he is not all quiet like you expect a pastor to be. We have become very close with him and his family and consider them to be some of our dearest and most loved friends. We always have a blast with him and can’t wait to share Disney with him again!

DF/Toni/Koni
This is our pastor’s wife but also my dear friend that I love to pieces! We always tell her she is a mess because she is silly and although she isn’t a blonde, sometimes you might think she was!

DF/Heath/Heaka
Taylor’s best friend, he is a big flirt and for some reason attracts attention from all ages of girls/woman from the yougest to the oldest they all seem to be drawn to him *shrugs* Needless to say this has caused his head to be slightly bigger then the rest of his body!

DF/Lindsey/Linekekei
McKenna’s best friend, she is a sweet girl! I bit loud at times but she loves to laugh and have a good time. She definitely makes her presence known!

We will be departing Georgia around 4am on the 22nd and arriving at our destination around 10am. We plan to check in or pre check in and hit the parks right away!! We are not one of those families that can wait!
Our trip is scheduled as follows but we are always open to change and don’t always follow our plans (plans are made to be broken!)….

June 25th- Down town Disney 10:30am-1pm
Back to resort for swimming/nap for a few hours

June 27th- Check out day :sad2:
Even though we are checking out we will hit the parks one last time until around 4pm... Pretty much anywhere we want to go!

At this time, so long as everything works out as planned I will be streaming from The Poly with a magic kingdom view. I’ve never streamed before and I still need to figure out an enclosure for my cam but I will give it a shot!

Oh and nothing is ever set in stone with us! We plan ahead but if for some reason we decide to go a different direction then thats what we do.....
