Out of Ink and I was so wanting to finish....

My parents went out of town this weekend which means that I have to work over time to run the store. My plans where to spend my over time downloading the rest of the WONDERFUL DISigns I want to use on our trip and printing them off. Then we are expected to get 5 inches of Snow late Sunday night and into Monday so I thought I would spend all day Monday cutting and making all my wonderful treats.

Well, I ran out of black ink on the first iron on (it looked bad) so I went and got a new cartridge. IT WAS USED!!!!! One of the employees must have changed out the ink placed the old one in the box and then placed it back on the shelf. I was so mad.

My husband was in Atlanta so he was going to check and see if he could find one but no luck so far. Guess I'll have to wait until next weekend!!!!!!

So sorry. The price of ink alone can drive you crazy. I know how it feels to want to work on projects and then not have ink or paper or whatever keeps you from making it. Sorry you have to wait until next weekend. I'm so looking forward to pictures of all of your wonderful creations!

My parents own a Pharmacy with a Radio Shack. My Dad is the pharmacist and loves to help people. And my wonderful DH reminded me when he got home from work today that my Dad always buys things in 2s. That way if something happens to a computer, cash register or PRINTER he would always have a back up so we could keep the business running. Guess what???? I will be working all day tomorrow on my projects. The back up printer has brand new Drums and Toner Cartridges. I also remembered that my Dad liked the printer so much that he also has one at his home (right done the street from me). So now I know I will have plenty of black ink to finish up my printing tomorrow and if it does snow I should be able to get a lot of work done on Monday.

I can't wait to post pictures, but remember I may have printed and put it together but you and all the DISigners on this board did all the hard work. Your dad sounds like my type of guy!

I think I actually do have a chance of snow/sleet tomorrow, which is surprising as I live in East Texas and it has been a really mild winter. In fact the weather was so nice yesterday I spent 3 hours outdoors at the park with my 4 year old.

I'm happy things are turning out better for you.
I personally went through an entire cartridge last trip--I printed a bunch of Dolly's balloons (I added a santa hat to them) and personalized them and tied curling ribbon onto them.They looked great and will have a special place in my Disney scrap book.
We have snow here--Southern Ontario Canada--but I'm ignoring it and watch a bunch or Merlin episodes--.
