I was 15 and hubby was 18 and had just left school when we met. We have been married 26 very happy years.

Of course if my daughter were to tell us she was getting married after only knowing someone that short of time we would have a fit.

DF and I have been together for over a year (known longer tho and were BFF before he decided to ask me "out" lol)...the best day of my "romantic" life was when he surprised me with his great grandma's engagement ring (NEVER thought I would be tempted to remarry after my ex lol). We plan to get married before the end of the year...tentatively lol. Being 7mos preg I may wait until after the baby is born near the end of Jan.

Neither of us want to spend $$ on the ceremony just the reception so we are thinking a courthouse ceremony followed by a blow out party complete with dresses and tux lol. I can't wait!
