I'm hoping someone can answer this question. Last time we went, the credits were all pooled and it didn't matter whether it was technically a child's credit or an adult's. I have read that they are now keeping track of how many child and adult credits are left separately. Here's my question, in planning out all of our meals and ADR's for our upcoming trip, I have realized we are going to run out of adult TS credits, but will some left over for our son. Can we go in, pay cash for our meals and use a TS credit for our son's meal? Or have you found they really aren't paying attention that closely to whether it's an adult or child's credit?

Thanks!
Lara

The credits are all seperated now. You get two receipts to sign, 1 for adults and 1 for childrens credits. I don't see why you can't pay for your meals and use a ts credit for your sons meal though. Just let the server know that is what you are intending to do.

Thanks! I can totally understand why they are doing that now, but it was awfully nice last time to just put them all in a pool together and go for it! :)

Child credits (entitlements) were never meant to be used for adult meals. After a couple of years of expecting Guests to follow the Dining Plan rules, Disney stepped in and reprogrammed the registers to end this practice.
