Pop Century 8th July - 22nd July 2006
Debbie (me) 42 Planned everything!
Curtis 18 Decided to come with us 4 months before going.
Travis 14 Just tell us the plans when get there.
Tayler 13 Is not as brave as wants to be.
Spencer 21 Not coming as backpacking around Europe for the summer (maybe next time)
Dave 51 other half Looking after the dog and cat and really doesn't mind.
Day 2 July 10th 2006
Did not sleep to well last night for no reason. Soon got into same habit up showered, dressed over to food court. Get boys up. Have decided to go to a water park today which ever bus comes 1st. Anyway miss bus for BB so we are off to TL it is just after 7. There are not alot of people there already. We get a map to choose a place to park ourselves. Think we choose well on the beach area at wave pool, near to the refillable station, lazy river, loo,s and food place. Got a refillable mug $10 between us on way in. As soon as got to 'our place' boys are off exploring. As I cannot swim am left behind. But have got my book and great weather to keep me company. Boys kept popping back raving about the place. Went to watch them on the big slides to a few photos. Then we go over to the shark swim all boys enjoyed it thought Tayler would bottle it but didn,t. We all went on lazy river a couple of times had a photo,s took quite a few times. Went over for something to eat ordered 3 chicken strips and chips, Curtis has the chicken sandwich was a bit put out that he got a packet of crisps with his order! $32. Did more of what we did earlier and left about 3ish picking up 5 of the photos from lazy river $51. Had not made any plans for this evening so boys of to pool while I went to the laundry. Just did 2 loads of washing $4 and dried both loads $4 which thought was quite reasonable. We then decided to go to the cinema at DTD the Q for bus was huge so 2 more buses came. Got to cinema for 7.50pm so went to see the 8.15 showing of Pirates of Caribbean 2 $33 gave us enough time for popcorn drinks ect $20. Boys loved the film I thought it dragged on and about dropped off sleep (though I am not a cinema person) Straight back to Pop after no one is hungry we are all sun burnt (not painfully) and tired. Thanks Travis for fetching the hot chocolates. Early night 11.30ish! Off to RPR tomorrow.
