Pop Century 8th July - 22nd July 2006
Debbie (me) 42 Planned everything!
Curtis 18 Decided to come with us 4 months before going.
Travis 14 Just tell us the plans when get there.
Tayler 13 Is not as brave as wants to be.
Spencer 21 Not coming as backpacking around Europe for the summer (maybe next time)
Dave 51 other half Looking after the dog and cat and really doesn't mind.
Day 13 July 21st 2006
Up at 7.15 today it is my partner birthday today so we all spoke to him in turn a sang the 'happy birthdays' felt strange as only time I have never seen him on his birthday. Going to MGM for EMH got on bus at 8.00 so not to late getting there. Boys went straight to Rock n Roller and also got a FP. Next to the Drew Carey show was partly funny. Then off to ABC for breakfast 3 breakfast one pancakes cereals and drinks about $30. Could get another FP now so I went to collect them while boys lined for Millionaire I just missed getting in so sat outside to wait for them they did not get in the hot seat. Next stop Lights Motors Action really enjoyed it at DLP the line was huge but went down really fast, thoroughly enjoyed it again. Boys did Rock n roller and Tayler was finally brave enough to do Terror tower and liked it suprise suprise. We all sat down after for ice creams and milkshakes before heading back to Pop. Boys went to the pool before having a nap. Heading over to Epcot about 6ish Travis and Curtis went on the orange Space mission they thought it was overrated. Tay and I sent space postcards while they where on that and so did they when found us. Picked up some Mcds nuggets chips and drinks $20 ish. Lined for about 20min for the Viking boat at Norway got my skirt soaked so wrapped my trusty towel around me. Was time for Illuminations could not go home without seeing this again think it is fantastic, one of my highlights. Next stop MK for EMH via the monorail asked to ride up front 1 other person was waiting so Travis offered to go in main part (thank you Trav very kind) though we should just have waited for next one did not think. Got the little card. Got on to ferry but had to all get off as someone had hurt there selfs, some official looking people checked the ferry out and then let us back on. The fireworks where just going off so obviously busy looked at POTC but long lines so where just heading for Splash but got stopped for the parade to go past which was nice to see. Splash line was long so sat down for a while with drinks. Seems more busy at EMH than last Friday night. Lined for 15min for POTC was better now we had seen the film. Got sort of lost and ended up at Haunted Mansion was really good. Then on to the carousel which i love and the line was short. Lined for a short while for photo with Mickey Mouse which seemed a nice last thing to do. Had ice creams and milk shakes while walking out of the park. It was getting on for 1am when we got back to Pop. So Trav and Tayler went in the pool till about 2 and we have not got to set the alarm. Horray.
