Day 10 July 18th 2006
Didn't hear the 6am alarm but got up at 6.30 usual food court routine ect. I love it first thing so peaceful. We are out of cereals today so hoping to get to Crossroads later today. Off to Typhoon today we love it here nice to be able to relax after having to drag ourselves out of bed, feel we don't want to waste any precious time having lie in,s. Again appreciate EMH quite again we sat in same places again, bought our refillable mug barcode sticker was $6. The weather is lovely today not to hot yet! Straight to lazy river before boys go off to the water rides. Sat on the rocks writing up my trip notes it is bliss. Had charged my camera battery bought camera with me but forgot to put battery back in what a dolly! We all had a little nap before lunch. Was getting hot now so Curt and I took the chairs just inside the edge of the wave pool so the waves could cool us. Headed of about 2ish picked up a photo of Tayler underwater in lazy river for $12.95. Back to Pop to unpack shower ect before head of to DTD to get a cab to Crossroads thought about walking but was unsure of the way. Got a cab easy enough was $5 +tip just popped in to McDs as not very hungry to hot, got 2 Big mac and 2 nugget meals + drinks $19. Went over to Pirates cove for the golf $38 that we had seen recommended a throughly enjoyed it Tay was being a unbravey about the lizards! Curtis got a hole in 1 and ended up winning. Boys all had a party bag type thing at the end. Went to Gooding got 2 boxes cereals bread and a milkshake $13.86 yes the are more expensive but still cheaper than disney. Headed down to the gift shops and made a dash across the big road with 6 lanes of traffic I hate crossing the roads here so scarry. Picked up the rest of gifts I needed to take home yet again more expensive than I drive but easier for us being non driver. Went into dunking donuts for 1 each and drink to share $7.75 and just as we came out the cab driver that had bought us down was outside so got back in with him. Was going to do the cheap way back to DTD but decided to go all way back to Pop as was about 9ish $16. Boys went to the pool while i went to the laundry again boys where not in pool long when a dry storm came over so they got in bed to watch tv. I started to do some packing to try and ease the sadness of going home. Finished the laundry got hot choc for one as boys are all fast asleep. 12.05 storm is still going got no plan for tomorrow we are all really burnt out.
