Pop Century 8th July - 22nd July 2006

Curtis 18 Decided to come with us 4 months before going.
Travis 14 Just tell us the plans when get there.
Tayler 13 Is not as brave as wants to be.
Spencer 21 Not coming as backpacking around Europe for the summer (maybe next time)
Dave 51 other half Looking after the dog and cat and really doesn't mind.
Day 1 July 9th 2006
Kept waking up through the night checking time back home (why!) Managed to stay in bed till 5.55 showered and dressed head to food court for a well needed cuppa tea. Saw a family going home made me feel sad. All the boys got up quickly (tell we are not at home now) Travis is so pleased to be having Lucky Charms for breakfast. 7.50 off for our first experience with the disney transport and I must say how impressive ( if ever there was a long Q more buses were send asap) As it was there was no Q and we boarded the bus straightaway. We had took plenty of iced water with us. The weather was hot but not awful hot. Not to many people at AK so quickly through the turnstiles quite like the fingerprint things at the turnstiles. 1st stop was Kilmanjaro Safari walked straight on was so looking forward to this and was not dissapointed. Next to Mount Everest got a FP but line was short so boys rode as well. (i am not one for 'big rides') they loved it. Now to dinosaur think it was good but Tayler and I closed our eyes lots! 11.15 now so boys use FP for Everset. Getting hungry and a liitle hot now so boys rode Kali rapids to cool down. Not to soaked thank goodness. All the way to Orlando and they want to go to McDonalds. Went to the DTD one via TTC and Polynesian had one of those great drivers that tell you loads of facts.Wow DTD bigger and better than imagined, quickly found McDs meals all round $28. Had ice creams took them outside as aircon was to cool. Was going to cinema but to hot need a dip in pool. While boys in pool I redeemed my free snowglobe How big! will be fun taking that home.
All watched the last hour off world cup final strange having Ameicrian commentator he called extra time Overtime indeed!
Was pleased Italy won with Zidane being such an idiot.
All got ready to go to MK the bus Q was long (hadnt realised they sent extra buses yet) so we caught Epcot bus monorail at TTC and ferry to MK which was much more fun. And it is still only 7.30. Did Splash and big thunder mountains 1st 15mins wait each. Onto POTC this was the boys fav at DLP think because i went on. We all thought this one not as good sorry.
Went over to Space mountain takng it all in as walked over popping in and out of different shops. Unfortunatley all FP gone and 70min wait i am tired my feet are burning so headed back to Pop. MK is heffing as fireworks are about to start but managed to get out fast and our bus is in. Boys had pizza again I had hotdog chips $18.80. Hot chocolates for bed as became the norm.Travis and I enjoyed watching old power rangers on tv other to asleep we are not far behind them. Got the towels ect packed ready for water park tommorrow.
