Hey! Thought I would drop in from your post on my PTR I can't wait to read all about your wedding. I would have loved to have gotten married at WDW but I thought it would be insanely expensive so I didn't even look at it. I wish I had researched it a bit more

Your plans look great so far!

I would agree with you about your BM situation. If you let them take disney transportation they will most likely be late (lack of planning) and if you tell them to get a rental they will most likely get lost (lack of planning). We had that happen at our rehearsal. Some out of town family was meeting us for the rehearsal dinner and called me in the middle of the rehearsal for directions. Instead of staying at one of the hotels I recommended or even another one close by they drove their RV and camped. No big deal to me except I did not know where it was! So in the middle of my rehearsal I'm trying to find someone who knew where they were so I could tell them how to get to where we were. I was so irritated.

I think you are right...the lesser of two evils.

I made it! And what a great sounding wedding! I love the dessert party and the reception at AK sounds great too!

We have talked about renewing our vows at Disney in Hawaii, but we just hit 10 years in 2009 so no need to start a PTR for that yet!

Cannot wait to read more!

I would never have thought of black linens, but can totally picture that in that Pav. at night! Esp, with those really cool table toppers!! That will be stunning!! I was really hoping they would do something to fill in the space and fancy it up!!

Those table decs are lovely they'll look fab on the tables. What a nice change to your location, the fireworks/illuminations will look awesome. Car rentals are getting pricey everywhere now. We have still to organise that as holding off just in case Ar you getting nervous yet ?

All caught up! It sounds like you're going to have such a beautiful wedding! I was hoping we could do a Disney wedding, but we couldn't make it happen. I, like others, will just have to live vicariously through you!

...We LOVE hanging out with Lauren and her hubby and I'm really sad they are moving to Washington We have agreed we'll try to make yearly trips to WDW together though!!

One suprising thing about our last trip is how well Eric and Pat got along...BFF's!!!...

This sounds so much like my BF and her husband. When her then fiance and my fiance met, they were instant friends, and he ended up asking my fiance to be in the wedding as well! We take yearly trips to Disney now, '07 and '08 we went to DL, '09 and this year it's WDW!

Also, yay for Carousel of Progress love! My parents met at that ride back when it was still in DL!

WOW!!! I don't understand how people can be so inconsiderate! Thanks for sharing your story though...I know I'm not alone. And in the end it's not a big deal...it just would have been less of an issue had they rented

OMG the DVC in Hawaii is GORGEOUS!! I'll have to live vicariously through you when you do renew your vows!!

We didn't want to pay a fortune for linens and things...we could have gone very elaborate!! Black linens are standard and then we asked for the blue and green gel candles. I think between dessert, Italy and Illuminations no one would notice anyway!!

Not getting nervous at all!! This is my 2nd marriage and let me tell you...boy did I learn a lot the first time...about myself and what I want, about family...about people in general. I have known since the day I met Eric that we would get married. Everything with him is just....well so right. We compliment each other...balance each other out if you will. I'm just getting really anxious and excited!!!

I remember when I was about 18 and dating this guy...and during one conversation he admitted to me that he hated Disney and didn't understand why anyone would go Let's say that didn't last long. I think I fell in love with Eric a bit more once I saw how much he loved Animatronics

So for you wedding lovers I thought I would post a little on our wedding today Not much...you'll have to wait for the real thing!!

Eric and I went back and forth several times regarding location. I have been in love with the Wedding Pavilion since my first trip and ultimately when he saw it, he fell in love with it too. Originally we had planned for a bit more decoration inside but we decided our funds would be best used else where.

Here are a few pics from our June trip of the Pavilion:

So we are going pretty simple and laying down a white aisle run and it will be line with pink petals in different shades, something like this:

The wedding pavilion is beautiful on its own---it doesn't require a lot of decorations !

Sometimes, people get too hung up on what the setting of the wedding looks like.....As long as the two people involved feel the way you mentioned you do in the above post, then everything at the wedding is beautiful!

SO Excited!!!! I'm really excited about the whole week...the ADR's, friends and family, the Dessert Party and most especially the wedding!! I can't wait to wear my dress!!!

We got our first gift off the Disney Honeymoon Registry!!! We were given a carriage ride. I'm going to call tomorrow to arrange it! YAY!!! Speaking of which...I need to buy some thank you cards!!

Thanks!! It was our first gift off our registry! We only registered in case people asked...where are you registered? We don't really need anything so we didn't have the need for a real registry. I'm excited for it!!

With the honeymoon registry they basically put the cost of what the person paid for on a gift card. So right now we have $50 on our honeymoon gift card. I think we could do the one at Po and isn't there one at WL?

Wow, just got all caught up. I haven't checked your PTR for a few days and there were like 4 new pages! LOL! Everything looks awesome! I love all the pic's your posted of family and friends. Yay for getting moved to Italy! That is where I want too, but I don't know if we have enough people... we will most likely get UK. I think Italy has the best view of Illuminations, and the prettiest back drop! I love the candles that will be centerpieces! The carriage ride sounds very romantic! I can't wait to hear about more plans.
