and then you've got the house to keep you occupie until your next disney trip!!!

do you do 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue' in the US for luck on your wedding day?

Ouch :headache: thats not fun. Hope the swelling goes down soon.

That dress is gorgeous and girly, perfect choice :cutie:

Thank you! I love my dress...did I mention it has pockets??:cool1:

Hope foot is on the mend pixiedust:

Your dress is lovely, can't wait to see your wedding dress pics on your return from honeymoon :goodvibes
Thank you!! My foot is already feeling a bit better!!

Well, if it's the 40's at night, does that mean night like 8pm or night like 3am?

the low is usually around the early AM hours..it does get very cool, very quick in the "bowl" (Orlando) and last week I took my coat off in Canada but once we got over to France and Japan, I was back in my coat and scarf..the wind coming from the north across the lake...Holy mother..Brrr!
(please take with the usual "silly Floridian" grain of salt)
Lol Betsy I love your version of cold:rolleyes: But I know first hand it does get cold in Orlando and that wind can be nasty!!! I am starting to get my weather reminders and of course it changes EVERY day. Today the Weddind Day will be 66 with rain:sad2: Of course tomorrow that could change to 75 and sunny:rotfl:

I was curious about what the temps actually were for us last month when we were there. I just checked weather.com and for our week, the highs were mostly in the 70's. Got up to the lower 80's once. And the upper 60's for highs a couple days. The lows were mostly in the 50's but dipped to the 40's as well.

I wore a t-shirt and jeans most days. Shorts a couple days too. At night, I put a sweatshirt on every night. That was enough for the most part. Even in my shorts...I was okay. A few times it was a bit windy so I wish I'd had my coat.
I packed a light windbreaker kinda coat just for the wind. Hopefully I won't need it...which reminds me to pack an umbrella!

40 as a low is better than when we were down in January and it wasn't even the high!!! I've got my fingers crossed for you! I hope your foot is better. Arnica gel is supposed to help with healing.
I know...I am counting my blessings that it's warming up, even slightly!!!

Hi - I just wanted to post a note now because you will be on your way in the blink of an eye!

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEDDING!!!! Best wishes with everything! Have a great time!

Hope your foot gets better ASAP too!! pixiedust:

Can't wait to hear all about it when you are back!!

--Leah
Thank you Leah!!! I can't believe how fast this week is going! Eric and I were talking about the wedding day last night and he said how cool it's going to be to walk through the Boardwalk in our weddign attire. Then he said, you do realize that's NEXT WEEK right??:yay:

Mandy, in case I'm not on the boards before you take off I just want to wish you a very happy wedding and honeymoon!! You're going to be a radiant bride, and I can't wait to hear all the details when you get back! Enjoy all of it, my dear!!:hug::hug:
Oh Anj Thank YOU!!!!!! You girls have all be so great during the plannign process!!

wait!! wait!! You aren't going to do a live blog???
Hey woman! We'll see...you do know I'll be on my honeymoon right?:lmao:

Thank you! The house planning has been fun so far. Eric seems to change his mind daily about stuff. We have to have a semi-final plan in today and I'm still working on the bathroom!

I do have my Something's!!

Old- My grandma:rotfl: Haha no seriously I was talking to her about all this and she said she is my something old!!! LOL!!! She did give me a hankerchief too ;)
New- My dress:lovestruc
Borrowed- Grandma's Pearl necklaces
Blue- Undies (they are ivory and have Bride written in blue)

So my foot is feeling a bit better today and the swelling has gone down. Thank you everyone for your well wishes!! Tonight I have to get the rest of the music downloaded to the IPOD and also make a CD backup of everything. Yesterday I mailed our last minute reminder Newsletters to our guests and we got Eric's glasses fixed.

Last night we stopped at my parents house and while we where there, my Dad gave us a wedding present...it was extremely generous but let me just say he gave this to us so he had an excuse to buy a new one :rotfl: I have been telling him for a while that when he gets a new one I would love for him to "hand me down" his!:thumbsup2

It's a Canon PowerShot S5 IS:woohoo: I love it and love using it when we go on vacation together. It was a super generous gift and I'm really excited about it.

Woah, yay Dad, that is an awesome gift! And we get to enjoy the pictures when you're back and post a trip report, right?:thumbsup2

Enjoy every minute leading up to the wedding, it'll go by so fast, try to stay in the moment!

Have a blast!!

I hope the weather gets better for you! When I went to Disney for Christmas in '08, the forecast was mid 50's to low 60's every day! I packed jeans, warm-up suits, etc. and no summer clothes. Thank goodness we drove down there b/c there was only one day we could wear the clothes I packed and after that, we shot over to Walmart for some summer stuff. It was in the high 80's and even went up to 90 on Christmas day!!!

Nice camera. :)

Here's hoping the weather is MUCH better than predicted. :wizard::wizard::wizard:

When will you know if you have to move reception locations? I think you said if it was at least 55º you can stay at Tamu Tamu, but will you be using heaters if it's still that cool?

You need to update while there; I don't think any of us can wait until you get back.

I just emailed our Wedding Planning asking about backup location. I don't believe they have heaters. I just double checked our contract and it says below 50 we get moved. 55ish should be fine for us...we are NY'ers remember:rotfl: Let's just hope for warmer weather. I never would have thought this would be a problem. I wouldn't mind moving inside to Tusker House but I believe that it's open for EMH :(

AUGH! Where have I been!!! 3 days until your wedding and I find this! OMG! I have a week or so to catch up before you come home with your wedding TR right???

Can't wait to read this!!! :woohoo:

Hey woman! We'll see...you do know I'll be on my honeymoon right?:lmao:

You know..all you do is snap a picture on your cell and upload to blog or FB..I did it over Valentine's day...please..no "honeymoon" shots:lmao: but dessert pics, pre wedding, etc would be fun..

Have you heard of the snowstorm predicted for your area?

They are saying that is more of a snow hurricane and that it will SEVERE. I believe it will be starting Thursday and that more than an inch of snow will fall per HOUR.

Power outages and travel delays galore.

I hope for your sake this doesn't happen, but it isn't looking good. :guilty: Is there any way you and your guests can leave early or postpone the wedding???

I am so sorry for you. :sad2:

Fingers crossed for warmer temps and beautiful weather! :goodvibes
:thumbsup2

3 days until we leave, the wedding is next Wednesday so you might have to wait a bit more than a week for the wedding TR ;)

So excited for your new camera!!! :thumbsup2 That's an awesome gift!

Hi Mandy! I can't believe a Disney Bride will be having their wedding when I am down there! I'll be arriving on 3/3 so I may very well take a walk between GF and the Poly just in time to see you getting your pictures. (I won't be a stalkertunistic as lurkyloo though). I'll come back tonight to read the rest of you PTR. Congratulations!

Hello.... First of all congratulations on your upcoming wedding, you must be beyond excited!!

I have to admit I'm not all caught up on your details yet, I'm only on page five as of now.

I'm a past Disney Bride myself.. My husband and I will be celebrating 9 years of marriage in June. We exchanged vows at the POLY and it was of course one of the most amazing days of my life. I'm really hoping that we can renew those vows for our 10th anniversary at the wedding pavilion next year, but it's too soon to tell.

We'll be at WDW from March 4th to the 14th so I'll keep an eye out for your cute Bride and Groom shirts.

Okay, now I gotta catch up.... looking forward to reading more. :surfweb:

Well luckily the wedding isn't until next week so I'm not really panicking yet. Plus a lot of our guests are coming from the midwest...plus almost everyone isn't leaving until Sunday or Monday so I think we'll be ok ;) No need to panick quite yet!! Plus we have a direct flight so I just need the storm to pass over us. I am already prepared for a delayed flight on Friday but we'll be ok:thumbsup2

So excited for your new camera!!! :thumbsup2 That's an awesome gift!

I took over 1000 photos at Disneyworld on my regular camera. And then maybe 20 on my phone that I sent to facebook. It was fun!

I hope your flight doesn't get delayed!! :(

Where at in the midwest are your guests coming from? The weather in my area has been decent lately. :)

Right now it's a location called the Dino Lounge. It's an ugly conference room themed with dinosaurs :rotfl: Our wedding planner is working on it.

I hope your flight doesn't get delayed!! :(

Mostly Kansas

:thumbsup2

You know what they say about Florida..if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes..it will change.
You really can't start to think about next Wednesday until about Sunday. Cold fronts (which cause most of the rain this time of year) slow down or stall all the time
