Our WILD Fairytale Wedding and Honeymoon Trip! And We're off!!!

I just found your PTR and it all sounds so wonderful. Best wishes to you both and I can't wait to see and hear about the wedding.
Thank you!!!

Every time I catch up on your PTR I start reading through the posts super fast, getting all excited because it all keeps getting closer and closer. Then I get to the end and you're still not married!!! It leaves me bouncing around all excited with nothing to do!! You're so close now!

I need to find a hobby to take up my time after the wedding, because right now I'm thinking I'll be completely bored when it's all over! A house is a good idea...
Lol that's how I feel!!! It's going by so quickly now though!! We still have a tiny bit of packing left, we are going to get Eric's glasses fixed tonight (even though he's not wearing them on the trip:rolleyes:). I definitely need to find another hobby once the wedding's over!

I just can't wait to see your dress with the veil and accessories and stuff!! YAY! It's getting so close now.

I can't remember if you mentioned it before or not, but what are you wearing for your rehearsal and for the dessert party?

And I'm glad it was "Mikey." I was worried it was a typo for Mickey. LOL. :rotfl:
This is what I have for the rehearsal

I also have a cardigan to go with it obviously...but think warm thoughts anyway!!!

Pack the dress in a dry cleaning bag..the slick bag makes it wrinkle less..that was a tip I learned a few years ago...

We are also expecting very nice temps for March 3rd..well..probably nice for you..us natives will be freezing still!
This was me last week in Epcot...brrrr!!

I signed up for a weather reminder and starting today up until the wedding it will email me the weather for the next 10 days. I hope you have warm temps!!

Fingers crossed for no rain on the wedding day. If I recall, they'd have to move your reception since it's outdoors, right? That would be sad because Animal Kingdom is just gorgeous at night!!

So here's some pixie dust for good luck and good weather!!!!

Yup...if it rains or drops below 50 (I think) then we get moved inside.:wizard:

it was 34 and really windy on Feb 13th..We went to Epcot last Sunday and the sun was so bright and warm but the wind cut like a knife.

but there were crazy people swimming in the pools..so I guess people from Canada would be happy.
Haha this would be my father!! We went to California last year and he was the only person in the pool.:rotfl:

Oh, WOW, Amanda......You're getting married this week!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: I'm soooo excited for you!
We are getting married next week but leaveing this week!! I can't wait!

YOu're getting close now!! You can say THIS WEEK!!
I can't belive we leve on FRIDAY!!!

Mandy, you are so close. Congratulations again and best wishes on the last minute planning.
Thank you so much!

Ooops!! Sorry! Haha...but you're right...it all starts when you get there! So Exciting!!!
Lol it doesn't matter cause we leave on Friday!:woohoo:

Here's hoping that this week will fly by, but your time in Florida will go S-L-O-W-L-Y.:wizard::cheer2:

Thank you!! I hope you are right.

One thing I forgot to mention earlier...as my usual style, I always manage to injure myself before any kind of trip. Why would this one be any different?:confused3

Last night while packing, I tipped one of our suitcases over (empty thankfully) onto my foot. I don't think I broke anything but it hurts like heck and is all swollen.:sad2: I'm wearing flats to work today but it still hurts quite a bit. Oy.

So I somehow missed your new PTR! I can't wait to read about your trip (and wedding, lol)! It looks like it'll be a lot of fun, and your list of ADR's looks awesome :) Subbing so I don't lose it :teeth:

If you can, keep your foot raised when you're sitting or lying down. Icing and wrapping can help, too. The ice will help reduce the swelling, and the wrap will help keep your foot and ankle stable so that you don't reinjure it. I tend to roll my ankles quite often and have actually sprained my foot that way once (working at Disney, actually) and almost sprained it again just a few weeks ago, so I wear an ankle stabilizer on that foot when I'm at work.

Yay for the trip being so soon! :woohoo:

Last week, I noticed a HUGE b&b blossoming on my foot and kept asking DH, how it got there. When it turned a certain shape, I remembered that a heavy shampoo bottle dropped on my foot while I was showering:headache:. I didn't hurt that much when it happened (which would be why I couldn't remember what happened), but apparently it caused some major discoloration! LOL

Yayyyy, I cannot wait to follow this!

Have a great wedding but most of all I hope you have a great life together! (And lots of Disney trips!)

OMG you are so close! I sure hope it warms up a lot before you go! I love that cute sundress you have for the rehearsal :thumbsup2

I kicked a suitcase before our cruise..so my nice pedicure was mangled..i cried! Haha..

Thanks! It's more of a short formal dress (the material anyway), but I love it. And I have these great blue shoes to match it!

Ohh ouch!

I think temps in the 60's are the best for theme parks!! :yay:
I agree...it's the 40's at night I'm not so crazy about!:rotfl:

Ouch :headache: thats not fun. Hope the swelling goes down soon.

That dress is gorgeous and girly, perfect choice :cutie:

Hope foot is on the mend pixiedust:

Your dress is lovely, can't wait to see your wedding dress pics on your return from honeymoon :goodvibes

the low is usually around the early AM hours..it does get very cool, very quick in the "bowl" (Orlando) and last week I took my coat off in Canada but once we got over to France and Japan, I was back in my coat and scarf..the wind coming from the north across the lake...Holy mother..Brrr!
(please take with the usual "silly Floridian" grain of salt)

I was curious about what the temps actually were for us last month when we were there. I just checked weather.com and for our week, the highs were mostly in the 70's. Got up to the lower 80's once. And the upper 60's for highs a couple days. The lows were mostly in the 50's but dipped to the 40's as well.

I wore a t-shirt and jeans most days. Shorts a couple days too. At night, I put a sweatshirt on every night. That was enough for the most part. Even in my shorts...I was okay. A few times it was a bit windy so I wish I'd had my coat.

40 as a low is better than when we were down in January and it wasn't even the high!!! I've got my fingers crossed for you! I hope your foot is better. Arnica gel is supposed to help with healing.

Hi - I just wanted to post a note now because you will be on your way in the blink of an eye!

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEDDING!!!! Best wishes with everything! Have a great time!

Hope your foot gets better ASAP too!! pixiedust:
