Our waitlist came through!

As many of you will know, we booked our upcoming trip around the IF&WF and wanted to be at one of the Epcot resorts for our first 5 nights. Having been on the waitlist since the 7 month window, we'd resigned ourselves to being at SSR. Yesterday was the very last chance for anything to come through on the automated waitlist and we made the decision not to bother phoning daily over the next week. Well, Matt just logged on and our reservation was changed to the BoardWalk yesterday! Having done the same thing every morning for 7 months, we're struggling to believe our eyes.

So, that's 5 nights in a BoardWalk studio (not BW view, but we can live with that), 2 nights at Royal Pacific and then back to WDW in a one-bed at SSR for 7 nights.

Probably a good thing Deb. Matt wandering out onto the balcony in his underpants and stretching first thing in the morning is always likely to frighten the natives.

We did the Food & Wine Festival just recently, also from the BWV.
This year the format is cities rather than countries and we found that the choices were so interesting and varied that we were completely full but only half way round! We had to go again the next night and start from where we had left off.

I know what you mean, ff. We'll do at least two circuits, although we usually skip some the first time then go around the opposite way the second time, filling in the blanks . We'll then probably go back to re-sample our favourites.

That's fab news, Deb and Matt! Just back from my first stay at BWV & I absolutely loved it!!! I know you know this but just wanted to confirm the location is amazing - loved walking to/from EPCOT/Hollywood Studios and all those flippin' restaurants on yer doorstep - not to mention the F&WF... Please have a glass of the Moet & Chandon Imperial Nectar Rose - it's bee-ooo-tiful...

OK so I'm a convert - I hope you two have a wonderful, fah-bu-lous time - just wish I was still there!!!
