Well I've been lurking on these boards for months and it FINALLY time to attempt a trip report. 
But first, just a warning that I am in no way the literary genuises like you have on these boards( and you know who you are). 
A little background:
My husband and I went to Disney World on our honeymoon in May of 2000, and by the end of the first day he was hooked!
I had been there many times as a child and a teenager, but this was his first time and he and I had the time of our lives!! 
When we got back from that trip we immediately started planning a trip for the next summer--so our son could feel some of the magic 
we had felt. Our son would be almost 4 by the next summer(yes we did things a little backwards by having our son before getting married, but hey things happen and it all worked out in the end!) 
So we went in May of 2001 and we got the comments from many that he was too young to appreciate it and he wouldn't remember anyways---he remembers so many details from that trip and we have memories we will cherish always. When 9/11 happened that year we were so glad we hadn't listened to everyone else and took him because who knew when we would be able to go again?? So after taking a year off for many different reasons- remodeling our house,etc we decided that since May in Disney World had been so good to us in the past it seemed like to perfect time to go in 2003. We had our first stay at a deluxe-WL and again had a great trip! 
After that trip we were officially a little obsessed and people were starting to ask if we were ever going to vacation anywhere else--why would we?? WE love it!! 
The next year we took 2 more trips 1 of which with my parents and sister, and one just the three of us. That was the last time we were there because life seemed to get in the way-- a miscarriage in 2004 , and then the birth of our beautiful daugter in May 2005 ( See I told you May had been a good month for us ).
So that brings us up to the present--my sisters and I had been thinking of taking a big family trip for a few years and when a coworker told me about the free dining
we were in!!! The only time we could all make it was the end of Sept. anyways so it all was really coming together!!
The Cast:
DW (me)29 : Part-time RN in a busy hospital, official planner for this grand gathering. Proud mom to J&J!
DH 34: Loves Disney almost as much as me, knows that as soon as we get back I'll be trying to plan another trip asap. The best dad in the world.
DS 9: Jordan-- Is excited to try the mountains and show his little sis the world!
DD 16 months: Julia--We have been brainwashing her with mickey videos and she call him MI-MI.
DM 55: Can't wait to see Disney through the eyes of her grandchilren.
DD 55 (actually stepdad ,but I consider him a real dad): Is a big kid at heart, he will race you to any ride!!
DS1 28: Lawyer, single, awesome aunt to my J & J!
DS2 29(actually stepsister that's why we're the same age): hasn't been to disney for awhile and never with her 2 daughters.
Dbil 32: firefighter and awesome dad
DN1 4: Maddy--can't wait to see
DN2 2: Lydia--can't wait to see the pricesses!
We booked this trip back in May and the summer has gone by soooo slowly.
We took many trips to the disney store (DS1 and I )and our girls now have matching outfits for almost everyday of the trip!! We made all of ADR's months ago, including breakfast at the castle for just the girls. 
And a few months ago my DS1 decided to upgrade all 4 of our rooms from POP to CBR!!! That's where my husband and I honeymooned so were are especially excited!!!
The Dates: Friday September 29--TOMORROW!! thru Oct.6!!
Our flight leaves out of Dayton at 7:45 tomorrow morning and we get into MCO at 10:15!! We are taking DME to CBR to checkin, eat lunch at old port royale and swim until our 6:40 ADR at Chef Mickey's . We also have a delivery from garden grocer coming between 2 and 4.
I can't believe it is almost finally here, the suitcases our piled on the dining room table waiting for the last few things to be stuffed in, my son is at school taking some tests early since he is missing 6 days of school. My husband is at work finishing some last minute things, and my daughter is watching a disney video. My DS2 just called and asked me if we wanted to take one more trip to the disney store this afternoon just to be sure we have everything we need
. I told her I didn't think I had any more space in our luggage to fit anything, but I guess I could just go and look, right??
I just want to say thanks to everyone for all the tips and info I have received from these boards and for all the trip reports!! They have really helped me to get through the summer!!
