Our Vacay Is Almost Here!!!

This will be our families first trip together. I have been and DF has been with his family, but we finally get our own trip! Our kids are 6, 4, and 2. I booked our vacation through a travel agent, but I haven't gotten any brochures from her or Disney. I emailed Disney and they sent me some information via email, but I sent something back requesting some brochures for us to look at. We will be leaving May 6th and staying through the 9th. We are staying at All Star Sports, and I really want this to be a special trip for our kids! Any ideas on how I can get brochures before our vacation if Disney can't mail us any?

Not sure what kind of brochure you are looking for but you can request a free planning DVD from the Disney World site. It includes information about all of the parks and resorts.

Something with the park maps, brochures of the parks, maybe one from the hotel we will be staying at. I seen the Planning DVD yesterday while I was on the Disney site and I sent off for it.

When you make an account and set up your itinerary, you can customize maps and have them sent to you and you can print them out. You can request maps every 6 months.

Seems like Allears.net has maps and menus from the restaurants.

I've never known Disney to send out brochures or park maps other than the customized maps you can create on Disney's website. I've picked up a PassPorters Disney book ... it has park maps and maps of the resort properties. You can get the park brochures when you get to your resort so you can plan your days out.

Maps are important, but I recommed the Unoffical Guide to Disney and their website touringplans.com. It will be extremely helpful to make a plan for each day to fit in as much as you can for your vacation!! Have fun
