Our trip to our "Happy place" w/ pics & videos!!*new 7/7!!*Last day Magic Kingdom**

Amy - another great update. I'm amazed your kids can keep going and going - wow! I have Kona on my list of places to try someday.

um, well it was the day that we were flying home and we were rushed with the meal so I think that was one factor b/c we had to wait for the slow buses to take us back to WL to get our luggage outta storage (they couldnt call our flights up) and make it to the DME bus on time. And we were seated next to the door that they went in and out of the kitchen so it was nosiy and I had some kinda chicken dish that I was not too fond of, so needless to say, we had a more relaxing visit when we were there in 2005, and great meals as well.
Sounds like ya'll did have a rough meal.I have eaten there for dinner but noone else that is going with me has. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Hi Kellye!:goodvibes My kids are like the energizer bunny in Disney. At one point I said" Matt and Trevoare hanging out at the pool" trying to entice them into an early resort night. They looked at me and said"Okay".The end-not interested.

Another good update. The week before going away I decided to cancel our adr's at WCC because I was hearing some not so great reviews and I tried to get a ressie a Kona's I checked several nights of our trip but nothing was open, since we were staying at CSR we tryed the Maya Grill instead. We're planning on Kona's next year and it will give me another chance to stroll around the Poly. :) Linda

Kona was the one must-do restaurant on DH's list this year. I had the same meal that you did -- that steak was delish!

Your kids are amazing in their stamina -- mine would have been asleep in her food. :lmao:

:hippie:

Those meals looked so delicious.

We ate there for breakfast and found it to be terrific.

Tonga Toast!!!! That's all I gots to say.

This was a first for us and I can honestly say we will always come back here.

I love the resort and it's my dream to stay there.:cloud9:

Now I'm tempted to try dinner too.

Hi Amy,

I am so sorry I didn't get here sooner. I never saw the link on the other thread until today and I didn't know that you had started your TR. At least I only had to catch up on 2 days. 2 days, I can't believe how much you guys accomplished.

We always say we are only going to AK for a few hours, etc...but wind up being there the whole day.

I hope all is well with your mom's foot.

Kona has been put on my list for next year, but we are thinking of breakfast on ourlast day depending on what time our flight out is.

More pleasepopcorn::

Hi AMY!
Your TR is sooooo good! I like to read yours when I'm having my morning tea and toast. It is TOTALLY amazing how your kids just keep going! Oh, and poor GM. She's such a trooper. You tell her she's giving new meaning to FIESTY LADY!

I think your review of Kona was wonderful. Since there is NO food in my TR! ha ha ha :lmao:

Please go to the Dr. if you don't feel better soon. You can't be too careful!
Thanks for the great photos and the updates.

I think you did pretty good a food critic. I am a plain food eater also. Well, I don't really eat off the kids' plates but I like burgers plain, plain this, plain that. Pictures are great tho!

I can't even imagine trying to shop with kids in Disney World, let alone having to watch them by yourself! :scared:
