Tyler's friend: man that is unbelievably awful, my heart and prayers go out to you and your son. I was 13 ish when I lost a friend in a train accident. It still gives me the chills just thinking about that time in my life. Hang in there and tons of HUGS!

YOU-Rae being sick, job, life busies: Never apoligize, I always feel like I am and I feel like am in that boat too and I don't have 2 jobs out of the home...we're going on round two with that stomach bug stuff again it seems, the Baby the night of Thanksgiving and then my Re on Sunday night and then a fever last night another 2 days lost of school...UGH! so I so feel for you Here is a bunch of hugs and pixie dust for you. I'm not going anywhere....

* good call on the resort-"rest" which turned into a 3 hour nap, guess you REALLY needed it....I hope I can stick to my guns when it's needed next June.

MGM EMH

After our positive TOT experience we headed toward the Magic of Disney Animation stopping to do a little shopping.I wasn't sure what I would do with Rachel,maybe The Little Mermaid...

I bought a drawstring bag that I use every day now.I can't believe I didn't take a picture. Peyton bought Rae a Cinderella slipper with candy necklaces.

We arrived in the courtyard and I heard music coming from Playhouse Disney.Rachel hadn't really liked it earlier in the trip but I thought we could check it out while GM took the older ones to the class.GP looked exhausted and said he just wanted to sit and rest.

We went in and found a party with tons of characters! At first she was overwhelmed but soon joined in the fun.She danced with them and had a balloon flower made.I had a hard time taking pictures because she was hard to keep up with.

In the next picture Minnie had just kissed Rae..

This is a picture of Rachel leading the Conga line with Minnie..

This is her playing in bubbles..

This will have to be continued later...I kept getting interrupted and now I have to get Tyler to his girlfriend's volleyball game..

How sweet that Peyton bought something for his little sister. She looks very proud.

Again, I am so sorry for the family of Tyler's friend. My son's hockey coach from last season passed away in August and we just got a very sweet letter from his wife in honor of Thanksgiving. It made me when I read it. Tyler will have to deal with it in his own time, and his own way. I have a feeling it is part of the reason DS isn't playing hockey this season.

I'll keep that family in my prayers. Now Tyler has an looking over him.

I went to this party with my 4 yo niece and loved it! MY kids chose to stay outside and tap their feet impatiently....

Great update Amy! I knew if I hung around long enough you would get a short break and post an update! I love the pictures - we didn't run across that party, but the boys would have loved it!

MGM EMH cont...

I kept hoping that GM and the others would show up for some of the party.I knew Peyton would love seeing Goofy again.An announcement was made that the party would be ending in five minutes and that is when Rebekah and Peyton walked in.We had just enough time to get this awful picture with Pluto and the party was over.

We found GM and GP outside and the kids showed off their drawings.

Rebekah drew the Mickey and the animater drew the Pooh.

Peyton was upset because he didn't think his drawing was good.

This is the drawing the animater did for him.

By this time it was 12:45am and I could tell GM's ankle was really hurting.We walked slowly to the exit and I got everyone and everything loaded into the van.

Back in the room, we all took showers and I got the kids in bed about 1:30am.I jotted down some notes and ate my danish from Epcot. We all agreed to sleep in the next morning and then go to Magic Kingdom.It would be our last day in the parks.

I have to say that our MGM EMH was a success because of our long nap.Rachel still talks about dancing with Minnie. That was her second favorite part of the trip..her 'mostest favorite" part is coming up on our last day...


How late would we sleep?Would Magic Kingdom be crazy crowded??

I don't think he had any siblings,Sharky.Tyler is new to this school so I Haven't met alot of his friends.The mom is still in critical condition.
