She did great! She got to play third for the first time.

MGM

We stood outside Backlot Express trying to convince Bekah that she would regret missing the Pepp Rally.Then I decided I was tired of the discussion and made an executive decision.The girls were going to the Pep rally and the boys were going to Indiana Jones and then to get fast passes for Lights,Motor Action.I put Rae in the stroller and as we were walking away I looked back and GP was studying his map already.

It was about 12:30 when we got to the hat.I pulled out my directions from TGM on where to get the best spot(what a dork I must have looked like ) and got confused. I ended up talking to a CM at a souvie cart and we got it figured out.This spot was out in the open and have I mentioned how HOT it was? I tried to fix Rachel's hair and ended up breaking her ponytail holder. I left GM and the girls to hold our spot and ran to a store to get her another one.When I returned the girls showed me a certificate they had gotten for playing Disney trivia with the CM.
You can tell Bekah is still pouting.

By this time it was crowded. A CM came over and talked to us about what would happen after the float got into position and how noone should trample small children. A few minutes later we heard the music and then the float came through and parked in front of the hat.The CM moved our group in front of the float on the left side, we had a perfect view even though we almost lost GM in the shuffle.

Rebekah was able to go up front to learn the dance.Rachel went too but just stood looking scared.


The girls LOVED this and Rebekah thanked me numerous times for making her go.

What would we do next??Sorry that's all the cliffhanger I've got in me tonight....

nice updates!! we did not see the pep rally when we were there in May, we saw it rolling by but no one in my family had seen HSM and when I got home between seeing some of the stuff at WDW and my pre-student teaching in 4th grade w/all those screaming girlies about it...i decided to watch the movie and loved it and bought it. I guess I'll have to see it this spring since I'll be working/living there for 5 months. I saw some of it on You Tube but I'm sure the live is better.

Great update! I hope they do the Pep Rally for awhile yet! My daughter would just love to see it! We won't be going back until spring/summer next year.

I"m not sure why but we never even ran into this at MGM...hmmm...looks like we couldn't have missed it. I guess we were in the animation studio or something when this happened.
