OH my... that sounded so similar to our wedding/honeymoon trip at WDW.
I was ok 2 days after the wedding... thank God! And then I was out for the count for the rest of the trip (the honeymoon part).
My mom's honeymoon after her second marriage...she discovered that she had developed a massive shellfish allergy. Not one that caused her face to swell, but one that caused her stomach to revolt, er, propulsively, if that's a word. Poor mom.
Not DLR or WDW, but on DCL my fiance (now DH) got really sick with bronchitis and slept the entire 10 days on the cruise and couldn't move or do anything.
LOL...by the time we got to our honeymoon cruise, I was pregnant, and I basically slept from 8pm to 9am every day, with a nap in between. Sensitive! I barely remember the cruise...when people talk about how kids shouldn't be taken to Disney b/c they won't remember, I ask if I shouldn't have gone on my honeymoon since I didn't remember much of it.
There's something fishy about that story...characters aren't EVER supposed to leave the park, and Buzz Lightyear isn't even supposed to leave Tomorrowland (though he makes appearances in DCA, too). I'm not calling the woman a liar, but there's something awry with her tale. Not to mention, if her daughter was in enough pain she claimed she needed to be taken to the ER, why was her mother dawdling at guest services instead of taking her there?!
Curious.
I agree with the questioners.
