Left Dumfries on the 22nd at around 2pm and travelled to Newcastle to our Hotel for the night, we usually stay the night before flying so we are all refreshed for the trip. Got up on the Wednesday morning and went to Ikea for breakfast before a short trip round the Metro Centre.
Arrived at our car parking only to be told that it was full and we were being upgraded to the Airport car park at no extra cost, the car was parked about 50 yards from the terminal building. Checked in straight away with no waiting and went through to departures, got 1st onto the plane as we had assisted boarding, the flight was pretty uneventfull until the plane started its desent into CDG when someone started smoking and kicked off threatening to stab someone. Plane landed and said person was arrested to a round of applause from the passengers.
Got cases quick and went to find Disney bus, paid for the tickets and got on the bus, we seemed to hit a bit of traffic but as it was around 5pm i expect that would be rush hour, got to Disney about 6pm checked into Sequoia Lodge very quickly and went to our room to change. As the parks closed at 7pm there was not much chance of getting there before closing so we just went to the Disney Village and had something to eat before heading back for an early night. Our son fell out of bed twice so we had to push the bed against the wall for the remainder of our trip.
Alarm went off at 7am as we had booked breakfast for 7:30am so as to be at the parks for 8am, didn't go to plan but we did get to the parks for about 8:30am. Took us a while to get our barings but soon had a grip of the layout of the park, went on Buzz Lightyear, Teacups, Dumbo and the Merry go round in the morning and went to the Studios in the after noon, we say Playhouse Disney Live (very uncomfortable sitting on the floor)
I will finish the report later as i have to go out
