I would do this...and trust me, my DH is voting for this option too...but Aisling is going to one of THOSE schools. You know the ones. The ones that apparently don't trust your judgement as a parent. The ones who will FAIL a 5 year old rather than let you take a family vacation. Yup, that kinda school. Frankly, for the almost $8000/yr I'm spending to send her to the school and their afterschool program, you'd think that we could decide to pull her out of school for a week if we wanted. I haven't gotten the actual paperwork but I think she can't miss more than 5 days. If I pull her out in October for 3 days, that only leaves 2.
You know two weeks ago, I had a plan...now that it's closer to my ADRs, I want to CHANGE the whole plan![]()
Gotcha! Jordan's school only allows for five days of excused absences for family trips. However, she can have any number of excused absences for illness and of course a few unexcused absences before they give you too much trouble.
Good luck with that and all of the sewing! Aisling sounds like she is going to have more costume changes than Cher!
I made my first two dresses ever over the weekend! They are nothing compared to what you Boutiquers make but considering I haven't touched a sewing machine since 8th grade until these dresses and I am pretty sure I got a C in the class I am pretty proud of them!
Looking forward to how you get everything worked out - don't forget you have to fit a DISmeet in there too!
