Our Thanksgiving trip - departure day and final thoughts

We were going to go to DTD this morning so Mom could take pics and then boat over to POR to see what it looked like before our May trip. However, when waking up Mom decided that nope the old hip and knee hurt too bad for that, so we packed up, didn't really expect to get it all back in, but we did, checked out, then did one final breakfast at Pepper Market before we left.

All in all, we had a great time. We had a lot more time this trip than last, but we also had bigger kids this time, so not as many worries (other than seizures).
We would definitely recommend seeing the shows! Disney puts on some great shows. Amazing what one pass will get you.
We all loved Mission Space and Test Track, Splash Mountain and BTMRR.
Three of us, DD, DS, and Mom loved TOT, RNR, Space Mountain.
These were our favs, but each of the rides are pretty great to us.
Definitely get there early each day. It does make a difference! Especially if you need FPs for the more popular rides. They do give out way early on some rides.
Take lots of money for food. Our breakfasts actually were a bit more than I expected, but for some reason the kids would always eat their biggest meal then! Trying to fuel up I suppose.
Do take time to see the little things and to explore the resorts. We hope to get in even more resort views next time,too. Afterall we need to know where we may decide to stay in the future.
Here's hoping that everyone has as great a trip as we did this time.

She actually did great with that seizure. It only lasted about five minutes top. The recovery time was slow, but that was because she was so pooped out from lack of sleep. Every night before then, when one of us would wake up we'd see her sitting up or walking around. After the seizure, however, she finally managed to sleep everynight, congestion or not. She tickled the staff at the Care Center after the seizure when she misheard us and got the idea that we were headed back to TOT. She hopped right up and said 'Let's go!'
We were like no way, uh uh, back to the room for rest. She was actually disappointed! Crazy kid....
