We are planning for December this year, but have already picked out our restaurants

This will be my 5th trip to WDW, and my SO's 2nd trip. We will be staying at Wilderness Lodge for 6 nights.

Here's the plan:

Signatures:
- Artist Point (dinner)
- Brown Derby (lunch or dinner, with the Fantasmic package)
- Jiko (dinner)

Table-Service:
- Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)
- Yak & Yeti (lunch)
- Teppan Edo (lunch or dinner)

We're contemplating throwing in Whispering Canyon Cafe somewhere too. The rest of the meals will be quick-service.

The only other signature restaurants we've been to are California Grill & Shula's. I went to Bistro de Paris as a teenager with my family.

We've both been to Biergarten, Rose & Crown, Garden Grove, & The Fountain. I've been to Tony's Town Square, Crystal Palace, L'Originale d'Alfredo di Roma (predecessor to Tutto Italia), San Angel Inn, '50s Prime Time Cafe, Rainforest Cafe at AK, and Planet Hollywood.

These are all new restaurants for us, what do you think? It's just us 2 adults, no kids, and we eat a LOT.

Looks great! I've been to all of those places (at the same meal times) except for Teppan Edo. I like all the rest and Jiko is my absolute favorite. I think Yak & Yeti is a great place to eat at the bar and split appetizers if you're so inclined. The dim sum basket for two and the pot stickers are pretty good, and their specialty cocktails are even better.

Very good line up!
Jiko, by far, our favorite :thumbsup2
Yak & Yeti was our best lunch yet, to date.
We are trying Teppan Edo for the first time this may, so I can't comment on that, and Artist Point is really good.

Looks great. I'll be eager to hear how you rate AP to CG. Both amazing meals but I have CG winning in a close one.

I think your lineup looks fine. Everyone has their own preferences, but I would highly recommend Citricos over Artist Point unless you have a specific reason for choosing it.

And we've always stayed away from Teppan Edo since we can eat at a hibatchi style restaurant at home - but Tokyo Dining has always been a favourite.

My only comment is you may find portions a bit small at Artist Point, but the food is rich and delicious. I wouldn't cut it out of your plan by any means, it's my favorite restaurant. You said you eat a lot, and I'm interpreting that as big portions so you may want to suppliment your meals with some shared appetizers....or just eat a lot of bread lol. It is delicious

HBD: We (DS and I) did HBD F! Dining OOP in May 2010... we did not care for the food BUT... they have changed the menu since we've been there.... We are trying it again in May 2012 with Imagineer's lunch. We did Tuna and Crab Cake appys... Filet and Chicken entree's and Grapefruit cake and banana mocha appy. I think with the revised menu it will be a very different experience...

Teppan Edo: Is a Family tradition ... we've been 10 or more times including when it was Teppanyaki Grill . We LOVE it... even with changes... very entertaining show and great place to chill out and take a break. We also love the shopping below and shows in Japan.

Yak & Yeti - DS and I tried this in May 2010 and LOVED it.. I liken it to a PF Changs but with better atmosphere... the decorations were GREAT! Food was very good... we are going back in May.

Have a magical visit !
Mary
