DH has a work detail this summer and will be gone for most of July, August and half of September... so DD12 and I came up with a fun plan to keep us occupied for some of the summer.
We are on a mission to watch as many old Disney movies as we can. Our library has quite a few so we started there, next we will move on to our local video store and when I stopped in the other day they were re-arranging all the older family movies into a new area where they will be available to rent for 99 cents for 5 days.
So far we have watched:
Escape to Witch Mountain
Return from Witch Mountain
Pollyanna
and The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again
Up next is The Computer wore Tennis Shoes
Before we watched the first one I think DD was wondering if they would be a little lame (I think the names were maybe putting her off), but she is loving them and making us watch all the extra's (whenever there is some)!
I am really looking forward to watching these old movies, makes me feel like a kid again myself
