Fowlerville Crash
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department has released the names of eight teenagers involved in a fatal accident near Fowlerville late last night. Killed in the accident was the driver of the minivan the kids were riding in, 16 year old David Keniston of Fowlerville. Also killed was 15 year old Timothy Zumbach of Gladwin and 13 year old Kari Cairne of Howell. Two passengers were taken to the University of Michigan Medical Center. 12 year old Alli Meyer of Howell and 15 year old Kenneth Clontz of Fowlerville are both listed in stable condition. 14 year old Julie Jones of Webberville was taken to St. Joseph Mercy in Ann Arbor where she is listed in critical condition. Zach Keniston and Margaret Keniston of Fowlerville were taken to Sparrow Hospital where their conditions are not being released by the hospital. The accident happened shortly after 11 last night after the minivan the teenagers were riding in left the roadway and clipped several trees. The driver David Keniston was driving on a level two drivers license, and as such was driving legally since the accident happened before midnight. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident. It remains under investigation

I'm sorry, I lost someone from my graduating class in a car accident two nights ago :(

Why don't all teenagers drive responsibly? I just dont get it...

How awful! I just heard this on our local news out of Lansing. My heart goes out to the grieving families. I can't imagine how that would feel!! I have a 16 year old son who has been driving on his own now since March.

Thats awful.
Not sure if he was driving irresponsibly but some of these kids drive so fast and reckless.
Maybe they should raise the age that you are able to get a license. I dont think many of these kids are ready for such a responsibility.

I read this in the Bay City Times tonight.

So sad that if he was driving irriesponsibly that he had to take so many tohers with him.

So sorry for the families.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families of these children...... :(:(:(

:( I have lost a cousin's son and friend's daughter. And having my own son and GF walk away from a car accident which totalled his car this May....well teens and driving is so very scary. My heart is breaking for these families. Prayers already said.

My heart sank when I watched this story on the news tonight. Fowlerville is SUCH a small town. No one there will go uneffected by this tragedy.

My prayers are with the dead, injured, and their families. May God comfort you all during this horribly difficult time.
