Our September 2011 Pre-Trip Adventure!! (Update 09/29/2011 - Link to TR!)

So, you know how I was saying that I have changed my ADRs and the last list was going to be final - well I changed my mind  and have made a reservation so we get to eat at a Palace!! :cool1:

I was discussing our ADRs with Zaheer yesterday (he has actually started to take an interest lol!) and mentioned that a sit down dinner after an 8 hour flight may be unrealistic. He agreed with me so we have decided to cancel our Planet Hollywood reservation and eat at a restaurant in MK instead, as we have no ADRs for this theme park.

I presented Zaheer with two choices:

Any guesses to which one he chose???

Well...he obviously didn't go for the pretty princesses!!! :rotfl2: At least we get to see them at Akershus. So we are now eating with Pooh and the gang at The Crystal Palace on 09/26/2011 at 9.20am! :cool1: I am looking forward to meeting Eeyore and Piglet and we are both looking forward to trying:

Zaheer likes having choice at meals so booking buffet restaurants seems like the way to go for us :thumbsup2

So what is your favourite breakfast meal at Disney World? The one that we will be missing out on that I wanted to try was O'hana but will have to leave that for another time ;)

Just catching up on your trip report :) I'm glad the flight issue worked out! That sounded so stressful. And I love your plans for the water park. Winnie the Pooh is my favorite Disney Character so I'll look forward to hearing about the meal where you can meet the Pooh characters. Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to talk either my husband or my brother into a character meal. Oh well, I'm just thankful to have so much Disney time this year!

My vote is for Crystal Palace. We've had breakast and dinner there and both were very good!

The only breakfast meal I've done is CP. It's really good... a ton of variety! And you can't beat dining with Pooh and friends!

I can't remember what those donut-thingys are called, by OH MY STARS they are soooooo yummy!

Oh my, what IS that fried bit of goodness?

Isn't that the puffed french toast? If it is, it's amazing...I can't really remember what it looks like, considering I scarfed it down so quickly...:guilty:

Crystal Palace is fantastic, the food is great, and the characters are adorable! I keep thinking about making an ADR there, but we've gone on our past 2 trips and I think I want to skip it this year, but I love it soooo much I want to go! You're going to love it! :lovestruc

Congrats on your Crystal Palace reservation! :thumbsup2 The only breakfast I've ever had was at Boma and that was pretty good. I would like to try Crystal Palace one day though!

Yay for a Crystal Palace breakfast! :yay: That is my favorite character breakfast at WDW, that puffed french toast is so yummy, the restaurant is beautiful and Pooh and the gang are so much fun. You won't be disappointed with this choice!

Im so far behind!!! Im so sorry!! lol you can tell as I havent even been able to update mine! Nonetheless Im catching up and loving your plans!!! Your arrival day is great! Tell him excellent choice! That bread is SSOOOO good and that would have to be my fav at WDW, hands down!

Thanks for catching up! :) I'm soo glad I don't have to worry about flights anymore - it was def stressful! We are looking forward to enjoying the water parks - it will mean we can have some relaxing time which we will probably need!

I'll make sure I take plenty of pics and will def let you know what we think after we have eaten with Pooh and gang. I didn't think Zaheer would go for the character meals but I have managed to talk him round lol! Keep trying but if not you'll still be able to go to Disney twice this year :thumbsup2 Wish I could plan a second trip soon after returning ;)

Oh my, what IS that fried bit of goodness?

Lol Jen!! It sure looks delicious, doesn't it? ;)

It is Puffed French Toast and I can't wait to try some! My only worry now is making sure I take something to assist with getting me out of my chair after each meal!! Will prob end up with a belly the size of Pooh! :rotfl:

Yeah - thanks Carey! :thumbsup2 I'm looking forward to eating breakfast at CP :)

Am glad to hear that Pixie Mama! :thumbsup2 Very pleased that they have a ton of variety though think the French Toast will be the main thing on my plate! Your right - you can't beat dining with Pooh and friends!

They are Puffed French Toast and am looking forward to trying some of the yumminess and having stars in my eyes!! :rotfl:

Yes, it sure is the Puffed French Toast! In that case, I'll remember to take my time and make sure I enjoy every mouthful! :thumbsup2

Am glad you enjoyed it soo much - will let you know what we think of it after our trip :)

Congrats on your Crystal Palace reservation! :thumbsup2 The only breakfast I've ever had was at Boma and that was pretty good. I would like to try Crystal Palace one day though!

Thanks DisneyAsh32! :thumbsup2 I have read great reviews of Boma breakfast but we have decided to do it for dinner - oh well maybe it'll go on my list of future places lol! Hope you get to try CP one day - I will let you know what we think and make sure to take photos :)

Yay that makes me feel so much better about chaging our ressie! :cool1: Am so pleased that it is your favourite character breakfast - I'm looking forward to all the fun and hopefully we will be able to say the same about this place after our experience :)

Lol Brad!!! No probs - I know how life can make it harder to get on these boards! Thanks for catching up and appreciating my plans!! :thumbsup2 I'll let Zaheer know about the toast being SSOOO good lol!! :rotfl: Wow am glad you also think this is your fav breakfast - soo many people sure like CP so am glad we have made that change :goodvibes

I'm looking forward to hearing more about your trip, when you have the time to update :)

Great choice with CP. That's my favorite breakfast at WDW and the food is much better than 'Ohana.

DH likes 1900 Park Fare (GF) best, but we enjoyed CP. I think you will find it a wonderful place!

Your plans for BB look like a blast and either way you choose to go for evening plans are awesome!

I want to go to the water parks, but I am afraid once I expose our daughters to them that will be the only place they want to go! :rotfl:

I love your TR - I find little details like that Mother's Day is a different month than ours! Obviously, it makes sense, but not something I've ever thought about.

:yay: for booking CP, you are gonna love it :)

Yay, thanks! Am sure we will have a great time! :thumbsup2

Btw bought some tops from Uniqlo! Got a free delivery code so had to indulge! Will post the purchases in a bit :)

Ooh am really happy to hear that as we are eating breakfast at both places! :thumbsup2 Am sure we will enjoy them but will look forward to seeing which one we prefer :)

Thanks - I am hoping we get to go to MNSSHP but then if we do go I'm going to have to rearrange our Kona dinner ressie :rolleyes1

Lol good luck with keeping them away from the Water parks for a while longer!! Am sure Zaheer will be the same as he loves water parks - once he sees them he will be asking when can we go back! :rotfl:

Thank you Debby - that means a lot. I know - I didn't even know that Mother's Day happened on a different date in the US until someone told me! You sure learn new things on these boards! ;)

So I wake up this morning and quickly check my email before having breakfast - am glad I did as had some more pixie dust!! pixiedust:

Only had an email from Uniqlo, offering free delivery! So I went ahead and did what every girl would do - chose every shirt going and placed it in my basket, lol!! I then went through it and got rid of the ones I didn't like as much or would probably not wear. So the ones I ended up with were:

I really love shirts of Mickey and Minnie together! :love2:

I also got the following in blue (didn't want to end up with too many white tops)

The vest top I really wanted was only available in black and I didn't like it as much in this colour so didn't get it :sad2:

However I saw this on another PTR and loved it, so I got it in a different colour:

Am so pleased to have some more clothes to take with me! I was also hoping to buy a couple of tops for Zaheer but was surprised that there were no Disney shirts for men available! Maybe I was a bit late in getting to the website lol!

Anyway, hope you are all having a lovely weekend! We still have the gorgeous weather so am off to enjoy the nice afternoon/evening :)

We have never been to the water parks at WDW. Actually, we've never been to any water park, period!

Well, DH and I have been as kids but we haven't taken our own kids to one. Our girls want to try one (there's a nice one about 2 hours from us) but I'm hesitant to take them! Water parks make me nervous for some reason. But I'm sure I'll give in sooner rather than later... I remember how much fun they are and I know my girls would enjoy visiting one.

I love all your new tees... especially Tink! (In case you hadn't guessed, she's my favorite! ;))
