Oh, the 3rd and final $1000 is being drawn Sunday morning at our store meeting. Wish me luck!! If I win I am gonna use it to meet up with a few of my favorite limey's!! (think Baltimore, Kings Dominion, and Shopping!!!)

wellllll yes sort of. We went and signed a ton of papers at the finance office today. We have to get a few more documents together but we're almost done with that too. They have to wait until they recieve the bond documents that the state issues. This bond is only a couple of weeks old so they just don't have the papers on it yet. They sent us out to get insurance quotes for home owners and flood. We found out our payments will be under $700 so we're really excited about that!!!!!
The inspection is tuesday and I believe the appraisal is on Thursday I think.
The closing is to be on April 30'th, Possibly sooner.
Thanks for asking :thumbsup2

Congrats on the house!:wizard:

where is everyone???? I am here during daylight hours, and all my limey's abandoned me!!!!

Ok some good news. I don't know what possessed me to even try, but...in my sig picture, the jeans I am wearing, don't fit at all. I could barely pull them up around the rump area. WELL, THEY BUTTON, AND ZIP now! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: So in a week, I lost 5 pounds! :woohoo: I weighed myself last Sunday, and I won't say number's but I was VERY unhappy about it! DH begged me not to step on the scale and look at it when I did last week, because of my eating disorder that I had at like 17-18  But I did! I looked, and jumped on. I got a bit upset, but I continued to eat etc. He actually asked me all week what and if I was eating. So I was getting dressed this morning, and said, maybe I'll dress like a human female today :rotfl: So I grabbed the pants that I always wear paired it with a nice shirt that goes to my suit, and my shoes, and purse along with a nice blazer. I pull up my pants not realizing they were still buttoned, and they pulled up like a pair of my jogging pants with the elastic waist. Umm, ok, now I know they are a bit big, but that's ridiculous. So I run out to the garage, and weighed myself. The scale is for our Nitrous refill :rotfl: I was pleasantly surprised. Then I run into my room, and try on the jeans   Grab the phone and call DH, and he said, well if they go on easily, then this mayhem of weight loss can stop now right? Well, no, sorry hun, there is still more to go. They fit, but don't look so good, I won't wear them in public! He was happy for me, and said that's great, because I know you are happy about it, and I told you the other day I think you lost some weight. I weighed myself 3 weeks into my diet, so who knows what I weighed before I started. But, I lost it in my extra hips :lmao: So, I'm a happy camper. :woohoo: So, DH is taking me clothes shopping either tonight or tomorrow, since I haven't bought any nice things since I gained weight! I just had to promise him, I would stop loosing weight and instead maintain it once I hit a certain number, and I did, I promised him. I told him 20 more and then I'm done! :woohoo: :woohoo: But I'm very happy. :woohoo:

Congrats Tara!!!! I am proud of you!!
Now do you think you can convince me to lose my butt?
I keep saying that I am going to, but it's still there.
Apparently I lack motovation.

For a very truly easy way, cut out all un-natural sugars. Like soda, and sugar in coffee. Those things really add to the ****. :lmao:

So after my Boneheaded husband woke me up, he decided to punish me by leaving the house without telling me.

Now, does he really think this is a punishment???? I get peace and quiet now!!

I just went to go back and catch up some..I really have no idea where I left off.
So I am not even gonna try. So I am not deliberately trying to ignore anyone!

:lmao: (I think I need to cut out the Wawa too :scared1: )

That is one of my biggest downfalls. When I had a close WaWa I was there all the time, now my downfall is Starbucks. Sooo, this is what I do when I go to WaWa. I have to have sugar in my coffee. However, I do like vanilla! At home I have sugar free, but they don't carry that when you are getting coffee there. So I add a bit of vanilla cream, and then half and half. In 2 tablespoons of half and half, there is 1 gram of carbs, which is all sugar, still not bad at all! The amount that you probably use if you like it light would be 1 and a half grams total. Add the vanilla creamer, and its only a bit, would probably be about another gram and a half, or 2-3 depending on how sweet you like it. Voila, a nice cup of java. Now, you're probably thinking, with those grams of sugar that are un-natural I might as well have my regular cup of java. Think of this, each packet of sugar or teaspoon, equals 2 grams each. In a cup you usually would put about 3-4 or maybe more (I usually use more in a big cup) 3 would be 6 grams of sugar. The other way, you can really cut it to be about 4 at most. Gives ya more coffee.

Before I counted carbs before our wedding, I did a lot of reading and research so, I tried to 'fool' it every way possible, thinking well, why would I substitute if it equals the same, well it doesn't. I do however, cut out most carbs in my diet. On average I eat about 4 carbs at lunch, and 5 at dinner. I really love meat, so it works for me. I order cheesesteaks from the Italian place, minus the roll. Total carbs 4!

I have 7 Wawa's in a 2-3 mile radius. I pass 3 alone on my 8 mile drive to work!

Hey guys:wave: how is everyone. I heard a rumor that MrO is getting a new house? Congrats!!!! Sometimes I wish I lived in an apartment so I didn't have to fool around with the maintenance type stuff, but owning is still the best option.:thumbsup2

Afternoon Rer!!! Haven't seen you in awhile. :wave2:
I would ask if you were gonna be around later for a chat, but you keep standing us up.

Yep, we're trying. Hopefully if everything goes right we'll close on the 30th of April. With the bond money we're supposed to get, the finance people we've been working with told us that our out of pocket money due at closing is going to be .... GET THIS...... UNDER $20.. Can you believe that?????? Cross your fingers for us. I won't believe it until we actually sign the papers. But that's what it looks like.:rotfl2: :thumbsup2

We did have to give some money up front, but we're supposed to get that back at closing time. Good faith money I guess. And we are going to have to pay the inspection money on Tuesday (about $250) and we paid the appraisal money. not sure yet about a flood elevation certificate. Hopefully the current owners have it and just just transfer it to us

That's fantastic! The least I ever had to put down was around $1,700. I'm sure you're gonna love being able to work on stuff for the house.

The bond money is supposed to be issued next week (not sure). It's available for Livingston Parish first time home buyers. They are going to give us 6% of the price of the home which is about $3,500 and we asked for the seller to pay $2,000 closing, and they agreed. It's a small house, but its the perfect size for us and the kids (Roxie :dogdance: , Lil Bit:cat: , and Secret:cat: ) :)

We're gonna head out and go window shop for washers and dryers, lawn mowers, you know the drill... See y'all laters.
