Yes you do. Tell that mom of your that aunt pd is a real cool mom because she is taking her kids to the limey meet. guess you will be the only one on the boards during the meet.

And ME

Well update on Fil. He did well in his surgery. Pathology is not back yet but they think they got everything they saw. Not sure if he would do anything if they didn't.

Told both kiddos about the surgery. That was the worst part. They are going to go and see him tomorrow.

I gave the option of just me, me and the girls, or all 4 of us. ZMy DH keeps changing his mind.(we will be very close to family) I swear my DH is going to drive me crazy yet!

Sounds like my kids..... except they are 7 and 10...... and they are hiding the gameboy games..... ok so it doesn't sound like my kids..... but they are still being a pain! :lmao:

Mine are watching a movie. DH has his first Hockey game of the season. WOO HOO. I love it when he's gone. Kids and I just have a blast usually. I get to control the switcher and I watch chick flicks without interuption or commentary. On tap tonight is the lake house. So I won't be chatting long.

Yeah we have dreaded doing this. We never really told them about his prostate ca because he didn't have super aggresive type. But now I feel obligated to be somewhat open with them. Cody is just so sensitive and worries so easily. When he was in kindergarten his teachers husband died of cancer. He was young and left small children behind and it was quite a tragedy so cancer really freaks him out. It is hard for them to understand that there are so many different types etc. My kiddos are just so close to their grandpa especially cody. They build all kinds of stuff together and he is a devout builder and none of his kiddos or other grandkids enjoy that so he and cody have a special bond.

:grouphug: Sorry to hear that. I have had to have the talk with my son several times about FIL and my father as well. Cancer freaks many children and adults out, its just hard to understand that people can live through it when you constantly hear about all the people that die from it. Good thing you are there for your children and are open and honest with them. Best of Luck to you and your family.
