our school was officially opened today by the minister of education and lifelong learning, Jane Davidson.
Lots of people around the school today even camera crew!! so we should be on bbc wales at 6.30 pm and s4c tonight!!!
The school serves all of north wales for children with autistic spectrum disorders.
Just thought i'd share this with you.

oh well they only showed a few seconds of the opening on the news thought it would of been longer as it is the only one serving north wales and even some english counties, shropshire, cheshire!
oh well at least it was mentioned....

That's really good news, my son goes to a specialist ASD base attached to a Mod Learning Difficulties school, and I can't begin to tell you how much he has come on in a specialist environment. It is a massive achievement to get something like that started, well done. Here in Herts they've got the will and the money to set up more specialist bases, but can't find suitable schools willing to take them.

thanks everyone!
should of said that the high school was officially opened on tuesday, but we have been up and running there for a year.
our school has been running for over 23 years and we finally had a new high school building built last year(where i work).
Thought that we only covered north wales but it is infact all of wales and some english counties as well!
we should hopefully in the near future have a new primary site and residential site, built as well!
sorry goofyish i'm not welsh, so haven't a clue, maybe thats what i should do.. learn welsh!!
