Cast of Characters:
Lisa , me â 31
Lynn, partner â 37
Emily, daughter â 3
Leah, sister â 20
Emily and I went swimming first thing. It was getting colder today so it was a short swim and we had to check out as well. We checked the express folder and all was in order so no need to stop by the front desk.
This trip turned out to be just what we expected. It was a wonderful celebration and by far more relaxed than our June trip. I think in June we had felt so rushed to accomplish since we had not been in so long and it was EmilyâÂÂs first trip that we just went crazy. This time we were more leisurely and accomplished so much more. I know January off season was a big help as well. The crowds however on Sunday and Monday (MLK day) were certainly close to what June felt like. The rest of the week was much better.
We loved staying on-site. Even though we didnâÂÂt use the buses that often the other perks, e-night and early entry are wonderful. We will still use our timeshare trades in the summers when we go (itâÂÂs just too good of a deal to pass up), but will always love our chances to stay on-site.
As for restaurants, we always love Crystal Palace and Chef MickeyâÂÂs now we have to add CinderellaâÂÂs Royal Table and Chefs de France. Even if we donâÂÂt always eat dinner in France, I think we will at least have dessert each time â try the âÂÂchocolate puffsâÂÂ.
Favorite rides: Rock-n-Roller Coaster of course for the big girls, for Emily â Barnstormer and Splash Mountain seem to be in a tie.
Thanks for taking time to read. I will be reading others as we plan for our June trip. Our family thinks we are nuts for going what will be 3 times in 13 months, I feel like we still need to find a way to the DIS Convention!!
