sat, 12/16, oop:
*rainforest cafe for dinner, dtd.
me, cyclone crab cakes...WONDERFUL!! so yummy! i added the house salad, and that was very good too.
dh, maya's combo (ribs, chicken and coconut shrimp), he loved it!
dd, 3 mini (they are not very mini!) hamburgers and fries. she ate every bit!

we so wanted to share the volcano for dessert, but we were all so stuffed! our waitress was wonderful as well! would not hesitate to eat here again!

*(TS)breakfast at poly with lilo and stitch
great all you care to eat meal! pineapple bread very yummy! the juice (oj, mango, and something else mixture) omg! heavenly!!

*(cs) dinner at pepper market.
me, chicken quesidillas (sp?) very good!
dh, wet burrito, he said it "was good" nothing to write home about.
dd, chicken tenders, she said they were very yummy!

mon, 12/18,
lunch (CS) flame tree BBQ.
very very good!
we all had the ribs and would highly recommend them!
again....very very good!

dinner (TS) whispering canyon cafe
me, app: salad, entree: grilled chicken pasta, dessert: kalhua chocolate cake.
dh, app: southwest chicken soup, entree: skillet, dessert: smores
dd, entree: skillet, dessert: worms in dirt.

waitress was wonderful, food was great! i took a couple bites of dh's soup....wonderful!! we took our desserts with us, we were so stuffed! i was a little disappointed that there was a bell choir thingy going on in the lobby of WL, so they couldn't do all the antics that they usually do. they did do the ketchup thing with dd, and the waitress threw the straws at her also and told her to pass them around. the look on dd's face was priceless! she was sad that they could do the pony race either. oh well

tues, 12/19
lunch (CS) pizza planet
we all had the pizza/salad combo with cookie for dessert.
me, veggie
dh and dd, pepperoni.
yummy food, we walked up with noone in front of us at 11:20am.

dinner (TS) 50's prime time cafe
me, app: shrimp cocktail, entree: pot roast, dessert: brownie sundae.
dh, app: shrimp cocktail, entree: pot roast, dessert: smores.
dd, app: chicken noodle soup, entree: chicken tenders, dessert: sundae

the pot roast was probably the best meal of our trip! it was fabulous!! disappointed that our server wasn't playing the part(other waiters were doing it, so that made me want it more, oh well. but it was a great meal!


i am being summoned to watch a movie.....will edit later with the rest.

lunch (CS) pizza planet
we all had the pizza/salad combo with cookie for dessert.
me, veggie
dh and dd, pepperoni.
yummy food, we walked up with noone in front of us at 11:20am.

We all loved the POG juice at Ohana too -- my kids each drank 3 glasses and still wanted more. We asked our wonderful server who told us it was passion fruit, orange juice and guava. Okay -- I have a juicer and have been looking at the grocery stores since we have returned for passion fruit and guava ... must not be a demand for them in Tennessee.

Same story with us for Pizza Planet -- we were first in line with no wait -- this was probably the best CS deal for us the entire time we were there --- no one except DH ate all of their food and I spent the rest of the day with pizza in my backpack. Yes, it was breakfast the next morning.

ok, sorry it took so long for me to get back to this......(btw, you may notice that my 7 yo had some of the same food as us using the dining plan, i did cheat a few times so she would have something she liked. i hope this doesn't start any debates)

we all had the cheeseburger w/ fries, and the jello for dessert.
very good burgers. the place is crazy trying to find a table, but the burgers were great!

crystal palace (TS)
buffet....we did this one last year too. very good food, and fun with characters. the salmon with the green sauce....out of this world! i love this!

mexico (CS, epcot)
me and dh, combo platters.
dd, nachos (which they put all the "stuff" off to the side for picky dd)
these are huge portions! very yummy!
the dessert were these crunchy sugar cinnamon thingys... very yummy also.
the birds and the little black flying bugs here were driving me freaking crazy though. and if one more kid would have chased the birds over my food.....i might have snapped!

me, app: crab cakes, entree: twin lobster tails, dessert: double choc. lava cake
dh, app: shrimp cocktail (which he gave to dd), entree: seafood pasta, and he added 1 lobster tail with it for free! dessert: double choc. lava cake (which he gave to dd) (he was in a pissy mood this night.....i almost had to send him back to the room )
dd, hot dog
everything here was very good! i jsut wish they would have something on the menu for kids to go with the theme of the restaurant. some kids like seafood! waitress was a little confused with her tables, but she was very sweet, and we had a great window table at the far end of restaurant. my dh saw the chef pour his pasta out of a bag onto his plate, he didn't care for that.

*paid oop for dd to have a shrimp cocktail
waitress was so busy, she was flustered. she asked me how i wanted to pay to the CP...i said it was free, and she was like....oh, ok.
the lobster soup is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! i asked for and got the recipe if anyone else wants it. i could have just eaten the soup! my dinner was good, the noodles were too "soy-saucy" for me though. the cake was great! dh said his steak was good. dd said hers was good too. we had a great table...a booth right behind the first row of tables....perfect view w/o kids coming up to our table to see. my dh said he would never eat here again if paying oop, he thought it was way over priced. but we had a good time there....dd loved it!

sat, 12/23dd went on pirate cruise...so me and dh went to have breakfast....alone!

we both had the bounty platter.....it had a little of everything on it. very good. we ate outside next to the gf marina. very pretty! i had a slushee that was wonderful! it was "coco-berry" flavor i think...it was a mixture of berries and pina coloda....i had to go back in and get a 2nd one! that was the best drink of the trip!

family style....very very good! i'm not sure how we lucked out but we got a front row table, right behind the piano. we had done this show back in 96, and i knew my dd would love it....she laughed so hard! i was so fun watching HER! they asked her to come on stage and she said "i can't, i have stage fright"... anyway..food was great...and the strawberry shortcake was oh soooo yummy!

we ordered: shanghai chicken, veggie lo mein, and dd got beef fried rice with egg roll....and we all shared. everything was good. and had the almond cookies for dessert.

everything here good again. my dh didn't care for the set up, but i didn't mind. our waitress was very helpful and friendly!

(oop) burgers and chicken strips somewhere outside rocking rollercoaster in mgm... it was just a quick good meal.

we all had burgers, fries and what else????? chocolate cake!! this is my "i-have-to-have-a-cosmic-burger-every-trip. and say what you will, but i love this chocolate cake!


and thats it....any questions, i'll be happy to answer. as you can see, we don't have any real complaints, we are happy campers in the world!

(looking over this.....all the chocolate cake i consumed...and i was wondering why my face broke out while there )

i just wanted to add that being on the ddp didn't give us any less service! i never felt that from anyone. the cm's couldn't have been any nicer!
