I love that most QS places had Minute Maid Light Lemonade – my absolute favorite fountain drink; Coke Zero is a great choice for something fizzy.
Contempo Café Lunch 9/17
We ate at the Contempo Café just after checking into our Contemporary Resort room. I ordered the Chicken Caesar with the dressing tossed in, big mistake (you could have it served on the side). The salad was drenched in the most disgusting Caesar dressing I have ever had. It was also coated with some kind of indistinguishable crunchy bready cheesy crumbs that were nasty. The Chicken was ok but obviously came from a big package of precooked cut up pieces. Just nasty – this was the worst meal I had at WDW. DS ordered the Cheese Flatbread (pizza) and it was actually pretty good. DW had the Multigrain Turkey BLT which she said was good. 0 stars for my salad / 3½ stars for the rest
Columbia Harbor House Lunch 9/18
I ordered the Lobster Roll, DW the Fried Fish Basket, DS the Chicken Nuggets. All were good although the lobster roll was again drowned in the mayonnaise based sauce. The fish, chicken nuggets and fries were all good. We also got the ubiquitous, factory made chocolate cake which is more frosting than cake. DS liked ‘em and had mine at every QS meal while I had his cookie. [RANT]Why oh why does Disney insist on putting QS desserts in the DDP?[/RANT] 3½ stars
Sunshine Seasons Lunch 9/19
DW and I both ordered the Turkey and Monterey Jack Cheese on Focaccia while DS got the Kid’s Panini. All the sandwiches were good but they are served on way too much bread. The focaccia could be half the thickness and still be more than enough. Cookie, carrot & chocolate cake for desserts. 3½ stars

I ordered the Chili-Cheese Dog and DS the Pretzel Dog. Both were good. The pretzel dog was huge. 3 stars
Gasparilla Grill & Games Lunch 9/21
Sad little arcade in the GF. I ordered the Italian Meat Sandwich, DW the Roasted Chicken Salad and DS the Chicken Nuggets. Sandwiches were as good as those from Sunshine Seasons. Focaccia just as huge and chicken salad in too much sauce. Cookie, cheesecake & chocolate cake for desserts. 3½ stars
Flame Tree Barbeque Lunch 9/22
I ordered the ½ Slab of St. Louis Ribs, DW the Pork Sandwich and DS the Hot Dog. The food was all very good, just way to heavy for a hot park day. Cookie, Key Lime Mousse & Chocolate Mouse for desserts. The key lime mousse was covered with a gelatinous lime slick and was not good. 3½ stars
Backlot Express Lunch 9/23
We had planned to try Starring Rolls Café but it was insanely hot and humid and we wanted to sit in an air conditioned dining room and there are only outside tables at Starring Rolls. DW and I both ordered ⅓ lb. Angus Cheeseburgers and DS the Chicken Nuggets. The burgers were very good, among the best fast food type burgers we’ve had. DS also loved Disney chicken nuggets everywhere he ordered them. Cookie & cake for dessert (by now we were just throwing them out). 4 stars
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café Lunch 9/24
I ordered the Taco Salad and DW the ⅓ lb. Angus Cheeseburger. Tried ordering DS a Jelly sandwich (mild peanut allergy) but they could not accommodate him, the PB&J sandwiches are pre-made crustables. He had chicken nuggets later. The build your own taco salad was very good and the burger rivaled that from Backlot Express. Took desserts back to room and left them in the fridge when we checked out. 4 stars
