Day 2 is Thursday, October 21st. We wake up early enough, get all ready & then have to decide if we are going to try Disney transportation for the first time or drive ourselves. We figured we were already running late so we'd drive in case there wasn't a bus soon. BIG MISTAKE! I cannot stress enough to anyone staying on Disney property, USE THEIR BUSSES!! We were thrown a bit by how far the Magic Kingdom gate actually was. You figure, you're on site...it must be close! Wrong
We get there, park & make it to Crystal Palace at 8:30. Not too bad for an 8:20 PS. Our friends were pacing. Oh Well, I'm on vacation & usually waiting for everyone else. We were seated shortly & our server came over to get us started. We decided everyone would go up except me, my DS & our friends DD1. What I wasn't told was that our friends were going to check on us every 3-4 minutes. Another story... Let me just end that with "I have been a Mom for 6 1/2 yrs & do it quite well if I do say so myself"

While we're waiting to go up for breakfast the parade starts. Now I can't leave the table because I'm watching a 1yr old, so our server comes & get my son & puts him in the parade behind Pooh. He was in Heaven! Then the parade ends & the little guy can't figure out how to get back to our table. LOL Our server really was great! Breakfast was good although I wasn't really that hungry. Everyone else enjoyed it quite a bit & I got to get my picture with Eeyore so all was well in the Kingdom.
On the way to Magic Kingdom I had opened the pin sets for Rachel & Connor so they were all ready to start trading. I don't know how many of you have little ones out there that trade pins but Oh my Goodness, My DS was a Pin trading MANIAC! He wanted to trade pins with any cast member in a lanyard. We stopped repeatedly throughout the day to look at EVERYONES pins. Then came the joy of Connor's LIFE, Cast Members would "give" him pins. For some odd reason he'd look at their pins, like one but be unable to part with one of his dear pins. He'd say no thank you & they'd look into those big blue eyes & we'd get "Oh, here you go. keep it" It made his sister CRAZY:crazy:  "Why is everyone giving him pins??" It got to the point that even after we'd say repeatedly "No, Thank You...he's fine" They'd INSIST on giving him a pin. We were told they were impressed with a 4 year old trading pins so well. It became quite the joke around that he was named "CON"nor for a reason. Needless to say he loved trading pins. And we were on a neverending search for Stitch & Mickey pins.
We did all our favorite rides and then some. Did Mickey's Philharmagic for the first time & loved it. Watched both parades & Wishes. God I LOVE that show! I cry every time & am so predictable that my daughter now looks at me and asks "Are you crying yet, Mom?" It was a wonderful day & we were grateful that the next day my Sister was arriving and we had the day off to relax because Friday night was MNSSHP!!!

Tomorrow...Minnie & Buzz Do MNSSHP!!

Thanks. Sounds like a great day.

My 6yo loved to trade pins last time we were there. She was more into the princess pins though.

I Crystal Palace . They didn't have a parade when I was there though.
