Our Polynesian Vacation...6 nights of Deluxe dining, pics, MY HUSBAND GETS A TICKET!?

By the way, I know my husband looks unhappy in the picture. I assure you he is having a good time. He just hates the way he looks when he smiles in pictures. He cannot fake his natural smile on command. Once I post the rest of my pictures, you will see that he does not smile in any pictures. Thank goodness we had a photographer that made him laugh at our wedding!

We started our day off with room service for breakfast. It was wonderful! Then, we drove over to Hollywood Studios for rope drop. We were waiting to get into the park, when DD had to use the restroom, so I took her. By the time we got out, my DH was standing on the sidewalk where we left him---- by himself. We missed it! We went straight to Toy Story Mania where we rode it and then got our fastpasses. After this, I took DD to see The Little Mermaid show while Dh rode Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster. After the show, we went to meet Lotso, the Incredibles, Minnie, Mater, Lightening McQueen, Mike, and Sulley. Meanwhile, DH grabbed a few fastpasses while DD and I were on the character search. We ate lunch at the Sci-Fi, which was WONDERFUL! We loved the hamburgers and fries, and the appetizers were so good, too! It was one of our favorite meals. Our service was slow here though... We did not eat dessert because we wanted to get back to the hotel for a nap. We were beat!

After our nap, we went back to Hollywood Studios. DH rode Rockin' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, while DD and I watched Beauty and the Beast. Then, he shopped while I rode Rockin' Roller Coaster. He then decided to ride each of them AGAIN, so I took DD shopping for presents for her cousins, while he squeezed in a few more rides.

Next, we ate dinner at 50's Prime Time Cafe, which I loved in October, but not so much this time. I guess it is just since I am from the South, I like my veggies to be bad for me (?) Example: my mom puts bacon grease in her green beans, not almonds. The service was good, but I was really wanting Cracker Barrell type mom's cooking, not there's... It came a HUGE storm while we were in there. There was even a Severe Thunderstorm Warning, so we did not hurry through our meal. When we left, we rode Toy Story Mania 2 more times, and then drove back to the hotel.

HERE IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING....
As we are pulling through the Magic Kingdom parking gate, DH slows down to show them our parking pass, and they ask him to pull over past the gate. We then see about 8 or 9 Sheriff's Department vehicles with police officers everywhere. They asked for our information, which we gave them, and they then wrote my DH a $114 ticket for not having on his seatbelt. I just thought that this was a little bit crappy to do to people on vacation. DUI, sure, but a grown man's seat belt. Come on... I'm sure that my DH was the worse crime going on in Orlando that night. I just hope they met their quota, so they left everyone else alone later in the month. When driving at WDW, WEAR YOUR SEATBELT!

Oh that stinks..I will tell you tho they do the same thing here in SC for no seatbelts.. Your room in the figi builing sounds so nice..I am trying to decide if I want to request Samoa or Figi either one with balcony..Your DD is cute as a button, I miss mine being little now they are all late teens with attitudes..lol

We started the day at rope drop for the morning EMHs. DD and I immediately rode Peter Pan, while DH went to get Space Mountain fastpasses. We then met up and rode Big Thunder Mountain. We then went to the Crystal Palace for breakfast, which was wonderful, as always. We went back and got Splash Mountain fastpasses, rode Big Thunder Mountain twice, Splash Mountain once, and then go another fastpass for Splash Mountain.

Next, we rode the train over to Toontown. We went through the houses, got LOTS of pics because who knows where they will be when we come back, and met the Fairies. By this time, we went to Space Mountain and got fastpasses. We rode the teacups, Winnie the Pooh, and got icecream.

After eating icecream with no major messes (YES!), we went to tour the Swiss Family treehouse. My DD loved this! I have a load of pics that I will post later.

DD and I shopped and I tried to keep her from seeing Jasmine and Aladdin. Mean, I know. We met them earlier and I did not want to wait again! My husband went to get Big Thunder Mountain fastpasses. Then we rode the Jungle Cruise. I love this ride, even though it is corny! We went down and rode Pirates of the Carribean.

It was time for our ADR at the Plaza! We love the Plaza. It is wonderful to grab something light and fresh and hit the rides again. We went to ride Space Mountain once lunch was finished and then headed to the other mountains to burn up some fastpasses. After riding Splash Mountain once, the sky opened up, and it came a horrible thunderstorm for about an hour. We decided, after about 15 minutes in the Splash Mountain gift shop with 100 of our closest friends, that we were going to put our DD in the stroller with the rain guard on and head to The Hall of Presidents. We wanted to go there anyway, so when is a better time than when it is raining?

Once the rain cleared, DH and DD spent some time showing off their skills at the Frontierland shooting range. We heard sounds of home coming from the street so we went to see what was going on...There were several characters dancing in the street to "Rocky Top". I really started to miss the hills of Tennessee at this point when the song said " Good ol' Rocky Top" and I was the only one who let out the "Whoo!" that belongs there! If you are from Tennessee or have ever been to a UT Football game, then you probably know exactly what I am referring to!!! More later...
