Tuesday, September 25

Again, we started with breakfast in the food court, then we hopped a bus to MGM. Before we were even in the park we were met by characters (Jessie, Hook, Smee, Pinocchio, Gepetto…). We entered the park at 8:45 and lined up for the rope drop. It was pretty cool to be there and hear the whole speech they give for “opening”. We headed right to Little Mermaid since our maps said the first show is at 9:15. We got there and were told it wasn’t opening until 9:40. Instead we went to the Great Movie Ride first, then back to Little Mermaid. Then we were told it wasn’t opening until 10:00. Finally we got to see that and then headed to Tower Of Terror. After riding TOT, (with no line and an elevator with empty seats on it) we headed to the 11:15 show of Beauty & The Beast. Then it was lunch time. We had promised Cameron we could eat at Pizza Planet, so we did that. It wasn’t the greatest meal of the trip, but not horrible either. After playing some games in the arcade, we left MGM around 12:45 to go back to ASMO to swim.

We finally got to swim! Being big hockey fans, we had to check out the Mighty Ducks pool first. I thought the theming there was really cute. Then we went to the kiddie pool. That was better for my kids. They loved the whale that squirts water!

After washing up & changing, we went to Downtown Disney for the evening. We ate at McDonalds for dinner and did some shopping. Cameron loved the Lego Store, and DM & myself loved the World Of Disney. We couldn’t leave there without trying the sundaes at Ghiradellis(Yummy!). The perfect way to end the night. Then it was back to ASMO, to rest up for another great day.

I often wondered how that works....thanks for your report

Sounds like a nice, not-too-hectic day. I'll bet those sundaes were GOOD at Ghiradelli's!!:D

Pumba, no we didnt do the baby swap on that. DM doesnt do the thrill rides so she sat out with the kids. We did do it on Thunder MT(the only big ride DM does like) and heres what we did. At the entrance, DH was given a "ticket" from a CM and he was told to take the kids to the exit of the ride. DM & I rode it. When we were done the guys were right at the exit platform. We all exited, Dm & the kids stayed out, but DH and I got to go back in the Fast Pass lane with the ticket. Since TOT has Fast Pass too, maybe they do something similar, but I dont know for sure.

SwankyBeth, yes the sundaes were very good! :)
