Our own "Prep and Landing"

We are beginning an interesting journey to WDW.
We are road tripping.
Leaving Houston to Philadelphia for Christmas.
Philadelphia to Orlando.
Scheduled to arrive at WDW January 1st.
This is going to be an interesting journey and I plan to keep up from "prep (getting ready for the multiple destinations) to landing (arrival at our "home away from home" WDW)

I am not ready to leave in 4 sleeps.
Packing organized is a must. We are essentially packing for two trips in one.
I am feeling a bit overwhelmed.
I know that it is cold in Philadelphia. I also heard it is very cold in Florida.
So I must knuckle-down and buckle down and do it-do it.
List and packing... here I come.

To post your pics!

step 1) go into your photobucket account where your pics are

step 2) click your pic to open it in its own page

step 3) to the right under the "share this photo" section, just click the word "direct link" and it will pop up in yellow and say copied (or for any other site, just copy the whole link for your picture

step 4) the icon on your disboards post that has the little mountains and the sun - click it (thats the insert image icon), and do control-V to paste your link into the little box (just delete the http part that is automatically in the box, so you don't end up with 2 http's LOL)

step 5) in your post it will pop up and say like [IMG....etc - don't touch that! LOL! Repeat the steps if you want more pics - then you can preview your post or submit it - i always preview to make sure i got the right pic in there - below is an example, since i did these steps while making this post LOL

Snow on December 26th. I thought it was pretty!
They cancelled the Eagles game for this little bit of snow.
I thought that was silly. Apparently so did the Governor of Pa. thought so too. I heard he said " We have become a nation of wussies." LOL

The road trip has been wonderful. We got to Pennsylvania state line on December 23rd at approximately 8:30 pm. Whew VA is a BIG State. It kinda felt the same way you do when you drive through Texas and it goes on and on and on.
We stopped in Harrisburg to see my sister Michelle. It was a quick visit but quality time is the key here. My sister is an early to bed kinda gal and she stayed up for us so that was very cool. She is the family cookie baker so we had the best cookies ever.

Philadelphia is known for many food fav's. Yes, the Philly cheese steak is a
classic, soft pretzels and hoagies. Philadelphia is also known for tastyKakes. Delicious treats... dare I say that kick lil' debbie's butt? LOL

I went into the local convenient store chain here in Pa... Wawa Food Market
and they had a mpuse in the shape of one of their classic cakes; Butterscotch Krimpets. It was an must-have impulse buy. LOL

C, thanks for following.
I will. The night time comes quickly. I want to upload but then I fall asleep.
We are having fun. The weather has been perfect.
Saturday we ended up at MK. Sunday we went to France for lunch. Monday we slept late. Everyone was exhausted and we ended up hanging in the room all day and took a late afternoon trip to DTD and dinner at the crab house.
Yesterday early visit to MK for breakfast with pooh and spent day in MK until about 4:30. It started raining we left and went to Pei Wei for dinner and a trip to WalMart. More details and pics very soon. It is amazing how busy MK is. There seems to be a large portion of International visitors. Very interesting experiences. We find the manners of the mass to be rude and pushy. We are not alone. Had this discussion with others in the park.

I am sorry to hear about the pushy people! I hope you don't encounter any more of them! I know what you mean, I sure do say things to them, however a couple of times they have looked at me and not said anything - possibly they did not speak English. Things like cutting in line, or pushing through a group to stand in front for a parade or whatever. Ugh!

I am glad your trip is going good! I can't wait to be there! Officially less than 2 and a half weeks! Post more when you get a chance. What day do you come home again?
