Not only will we need someone to help us navigate our way through Atlanta, but we also need someone to explain why everyone in Atlanta is driving around on the interstate at three o'clock in the morning! I have been through Atlanta at almost every time of the day and night, and it is always, always, always busy.

I can get us through Atlanta, and it doesn't matter anyway b/c we will have Dawn and she can DEFINITELY get us through atlanta!!

Dawn, I subbed to this report and I am FINALLY going back to read your other trippies, as well. I got so behind on all my TR reading b/c I was absent from the DisBoards for about 4 or 5 months. You prolly don't remember me, but I live in GA like you, but I like the Bulldogs - sorry, I'm sure you see that as a character flaw . Anyway, just wanted to say I'm along for the ride!

People are out on 285 at 3:00 in the morning to beat the non-moving morning traffic gridlock. It is the only good time to travel around Atlanta. I remember growing up we always left around 3:00 in the morning for vacation.

very true! i worked in atlanta for about 2 years and i still can't believe i made it to work every day in one piece!

And watching Heath Ledger AND Christian Bale for 2 hours is a pain some of us just have to bear ( Insert drooling smilie here) Mmmmmm. (sorry I slurped on my keyboard)

of course i remember you!!! and i don't consider liking the bulldogs a character flaw.......just a lapse in judgment. i'm TOTALLY kidding!!!! seriously, not all their fans are obnoxious and i'm sure you're one of the nice ones. it's just that i live 20 minutes from athens so you can imagine the slack i get for not being a bulldogs fan. people here consider that sacreligious or something! by the way, i took mark richt's deposition about a month ago and he was a really nice guy!

for all of you who haven't seen "the dark knight" go see it as soon as possible!!!!! it's the best movie i've seen in a long time. i love a movie where people clap at the end! heath ledger is AMAZING in it! i never thought anyone would ever compare to jack nicholson as the joker, but he made it his own character and it's just unbelievable. and i'm not saying that to glorify him because he's no longer with us. it's really very sad what a great talent he was and this is the last movie he completed before his death. i love how he didn't always have to play the nice roles and he didn't care about how he looked with his characters. i'm sure some of you haven't watched "brokeback mountain" because of its content (which is a personal choice), but it was an amazing movie and he did such a great job in it. now this character comes about and it's even more amazing. i won't give anything away, but the first real scene with him is just crazy - just remember to watch for his magic trick. what a way to introduce a character!!!!!! and the guy that played harvey dent (can't remember his name right now) did a great job, as well. of course christian bale is just hot. you can press mute and i could watch him for hours even without the sound!!!!

dinner at bonefish grill was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!! oh my goodness.......we will definitely be back!

i got the pistachio parmesan rainbow trout. it came with artichokes, potatoes au gratin and a corn relish type of thing. it was SO GOOD!!!! we also had bang bang shrimp and fried calamari for appetizers and both were good, but that bang bang shrimp is unbelievable!!! ray got a filet and scampi and his was good, too. i had a lemongrass martini and it was scrumptous!

i absolutely love this picture and i wish it was not so dark....

this is the closest i came to food porn. it was really dark in there and a flash would've been totally noticeable and obnoxious. i didn't want to embarass everyone i was with by taking pictures of my food. i don't mind at disney but not in "real life"! anyway, you can see what a huge piece of fish i had. and those things on top are the artichokes.....yum! anna had grouper with chimichurri sauce and chris had swordfish with bacon, spinach and gorgonzola, but you can't really see his food. everyone loved everything!

okay......you asked for it so you got it. brooke and jon came by last night on their way home from florida (they went to the beach after disney). so i uploaded her pics to my computer and i have her permission to post them. these are by no means all of them, but some good ones. she says she may do a TR, but she's just not sure yet. jon said, "your TR would be horrible......well, it rained.....then it rained some more......then it stopped for about 5 minutes, then it rained some more!"

anyway, on to the pictures!

oh, and before we get started on disney pics, i have to include this one. this is my baby brother and this picture was on brooke's camera. he got a haircut and he just looks so good!!! a couple of you know his situation - just wanted to share this picture because he's so cute in it and i'm so proud of him!
