I just wanted to jump in and wish you a happy belated birthday. We were out of town for the weekend, so I got a little behind.
thank you!!!!
Great TR! I'm mostly a lurker but I just had to write and tell you your pics are GREAT!!! Also to tell you a funny story. I was sitting here reading your TR and my son (who is 7) came in the room and was looking at your pics and after he saw a couple he said "They went to Disney - WITHOUT KIDS? That is against the law!!"

Then he saw the pic of your dessert with the Happy Anniversary on it and said "Well, I guess that's why they didn't get arrested, since it was their anniversary"
So you saw Sorcerer Mickey in the Animation Studios? Is that new? We went last September and it was only the Incredibles and Ratatouille. I hope he will be there in September, I would love to get pics with him!!!
Tammy
what your DS said is SO FUNNY!!!!! the things kids think!!

tell him that the reason adults can go to disney without kids is because when people walk through the gates at any disney park (especially MK) they magically become a kid themselves.......no matter what!
i don't think the sorceror mickey area is new at DHS, but i'm not positive. when you come out of the first show, if you go straight you go to the ratatouille (which is now wall-e) set, to the right is the incredibles and to the left was sorcerer mickey.
It does look like they had a good time inspite of the rain like many others have said..........
Happy Belated Birthday
It looks like you had a wonderful dinner.
Thanks for the Ebert and Roeper review of "Dark Knight". It sounds like 2 thumbs up for sure.
thank you!!!! ebert and roeper......
Glad to hear Dark Knight was good! I saw Hancock today, which the jury is still out on. Although Will Smith is always nice to look at
i agree! i haven't seen hancock yet though. i do love the scene in the previews where he thows the whale!
The Adventurer's Club looks like so much fun -- I am so sad that I won't make it down there before it closes.
i'm hoping to make it by there at least for a few minutes in september.....we'll just have to wait and see!
Hey that is cool about Mark Richt. Yes, there can definitely be really rude GA fans. I like to think I am not one of those, well unless you are a FL fan...hehe.
I think I read one of your posts saying you were about to lose your hubby to college football season - am I recalling this correctly - and all I can say is I wish I had that problem. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE college football and watch as many games as I can on Thurs, Fri, and Sat...lol. I am soingle and am looking for a man who is the same kind of fan as me. If you know of anyone
, you can send 'em my way...lol.
Oh and Happy Belated Birthday! When was it? My mom's was the 17th. Hope you had some great birthday plans!
yes, ray is a HUGE college football fan. i have to schedule things around football from september to december. in fact, when i was scheduled our disney trip in december i consulted with him first to make sure there were no major games that weekend!
thanks about my birthday! it was 7/18.
Her ride expressions are hilarious-especially on EE. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate with them. I LOVE the tink mug

Great choice!
i love her expressions on the rides! she's just crazy.
Dawn, glad you had a great birthday dinner! I could just see the other patrons in the restaurant when you started taking food pron shots!
yeah.....for some reason at disney i don't care about getting strange looks. but i didn't feel like people glaring at me in this nice, dimly-lit restaurant for taking pictures of my food!
Happy Belated Birthday Dawn...

I am glad that you had a good time at Bone Fish.. I usually order the Tilapia. Very yummy.
i'll remember the tilapia next time! everything was so good and i'm sure the whole menu is great!
wow now if we could all write a TR from our vacations that fast...i felt like i just saw the who World, in less than 5 minutes.
great job on the recape, we are tlaking about doing a drink a country around epcot...thanks to your hubby, i have to get the sampler at Rose...and we want to get the margarita at Mexico,
the good thing is, that i think Candis sister will be joining us that day in Epcot, so it will be easy to get a drink and share in each country, we would be plastered if we all got our own in each country, then who would watch parker?

i think sharing drinks is a better idea! ray and i shared drinks at epcot (besides the beer) - otherwise we would've spent a fortune!
I thought I'd sorta hijack you TR for 5 seconds and show you what I ran into at the midnight opening on Thursday for Dark Knight. DH has been excited about the movie since the final credits rolled on Batman Begins in the theater the first time we saw it. Anywho, my wait included this:
Hey it's Disney/pixar so it's not too far off subject. I didn't have my camera with me the last time we were at the theater and since DH made me wait 2 hours at the theater before the midnight show time, I had to kill some time and who better to do it with?
hijack away! cute picture!!!!! i hear there's a new wall-e photo op where ratatouille used to be at DHS!
That was our building this trip - the green one to the right of Mickey.
I'm looking very forward to our Liberty Tree meal the day before Thanksgiving, and I'm especially glad to be getting it in before they remove the characters.
Thanks for sharing Brooke's pictures. There's fun to be had in spite of bad weather when you are in Disney World!
yeah, i knew you guys stayed somewhere around the mickey phone. i can't wait until erica and i are there in less than 2 months!!!!!!

she's so sweet - she sent me a super awesome shirt for my birthday. although i'm not going to tell you guys what it is becuase i want to wear it on the trip!
WOW take a weekend off from the DIS and look what happens 6 new pages on one of my favorite TRs

Your response to me was so far back I'm not even going to try and go find it to quote.
You must travel all over for your job, you're a pretty long way from Marietta. Would you believe I've never been to the Marietta Dinner! We usually go to Willie Rae's or Simpatico they are our favorites.

can't wait to see how the rest of your time in WS went.
Lynn
i can't remember what my response was to you, either!

i may go back and find it just because now it's gonna bug me!
more often than not i'm within 20 miles of my home, which is nice. but every now and then i go further away. today i had a deposition in norcross. tomorrow i have a court hearing in elberton. so you can see.....i go everywhere! probably why my car has 130,000 miles on it!
