Our new pastor is a Disney fanatic

I had already taken a liking to him but during his homily he mentioned that he is a Disney fan & vacations there every year, I KNEW we'd hit it off!
After 18 yrs of the same pastor who did not have an appreciation for children, I am thrilled to have this new pastor. Rumor has it the parish office is being inundated with new parishioners since his placement was announced.

I'm working on converting my minister to the Disney side of things. It makes it a bit easier as he is my dad . He is one of the family members I'm trying to convince that we'll have a good time on a family reunion at WDW.

Our adult minister loves Disney. His wife is from FL. and they go several times a year while visiting her family. They love to talk about it, but in a very low key way. We're Baptist!

Liz we are in Middletown (the one in Frederick County) He even said he found a hidden Mickey in the liturgical book. I find it even cooler because as a Catholic priest, he has no children or spouse.

Aw, too bad, we're over here in Anne Arundel County so that's a bit far. That is absolutely hilarious about the hidden Mickey though!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He sounds like he'll be a very fun priest!!

Our pastor says he's rather be dragged naked through a rock quarry than go to Disneyworld. The problem is his wife & son love it. They've been several times, LOL! He always apologizes to me when he says that.
