Our cruise was soooo much more than we ever could of expected. We all (18 of us) had a wonderful time from start to finish.

We had 4 Days at Disney World and did the parks before our Cruise. We arrived at the Terminal around 11:15 ish and we registered the kids (we have 2 boys) for Kids Clubs and then stood in line to board. We were at the Poly before the cruise so did check in there. VERY Simple process and had no problems.

May 15th!!ºoº
We boarded the ship after a short wait and we felt like Kings and I felt like a Queen being annouced as we boarded. Too cool.
Up to the buffet for lunch which was awesome. Then off to check out the ship and then to the pool so the kids could swim. Wasn't crowded at all.

When our rooms were ready dh and I went to check it out while my SIL watched the boys for us. We were in Room 7074 and we LOVED it. Perfect size for the 4 of us and I loved the split bath Idea. Worked really well for us. Loved the verhenda too!! Our room was very clean and our attendant was Rudy. He was really on the ball and we never had to ask for a thing. He was great.

The sail away party was alot of fun we really enjoyed it. Our first dinner was at Tritons and it was a great resturant. Food and our servers were excellent!! Our Head Server was Agus from Indenesia and our Asst server was Anna from Russia. They were awesome. We had 10 adults at one table and 8 kids at another ages 5-12 and they tended to everyone great. It was if we were at an adult dinner outing with out kids. The kids had a great time with the servers. They did magic tricks for them and really entertained them.
There was a minor misshap at dinner. I asked the asst svr to cut my sons pasta for me and she didn't understand and cut off his kids club wrist band. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She felt sooo bad about it. We all laughed an had it replaced. It was not a big deal at all.
Food in every resturant was AWESOME!!!! We all ate so much and really enjoyed everything from Appetizors straight through to desserts.

I will fininsh my report later as I am at work. :sunny:

We had Agus and Anna for our may 8th Wonder cruise! They were fabulous!!!!! Did Anna tell you that when she got the job, she hardly knew English that well? I think she has done a remarkable job of learning the language....so of course, every once in awhile...she is going to slip up and cut off your child's wrist band....LOL!!!! (it could have been worse, if you think about it!!!!!)

:rotfl2: True.

May 15th. After seeing Hurcules which we all loved we took our kids to the kids club and dropped them off to play for awhile. They loved it. We had one in the 5-7 group and one in the 8-9 group. They were ok the first night not being together and had fun, they were with their cousins as well. Till my 6 1/2 yr old found out the 8-9 group had playstation and x box. LOL so from then on in he was with his older brother. They had no problem bumping him up with the older kids. He is use to playing with older kids anyway so it worked out well.
We only put the kids in the club in the evenings after we spent all morning, afternoon, dinner and the show together. They had a blast while all the adults checked out the bars, and adult things to do on the ship.

May 16 we arrived in Nassau. We did the buffet for breakfast then hooked up with my BIL, SIL and their kids and set out to check out some things. We hit a few stores then got a taxi for $3. per person to the Atlantis. We honeymooned in Nassau so we knew what to expect. We had never seen the Atlantis though so we went there and dh and my BIL checked out the casino for awhile while Me my SIL and the kids checked out the hotel and walked around a bit. The kids really enjoy the aquarium in the lobby. We did not do an excursion here. We then hit a few stores in Paradise Island then headed back to the ship by taxi for $2. per person. Got back to the ship and hit the pools as they were pretty empty. The kids were thrilled.
They enjoyed both pools. We did the Mickey pool first, the water slide was really cool and my kids loved it. Then as that pool got crowded we went over to the goofy pool for the rest of the day till it was time to go to dinner.

Dinner this night was in AP. Loved it. It was really cool how it changed colors as we were eating and then the waiters who started off with white vests on ended changing them to colorful ones.
I went to the rest room during dinner and accidently left my purse in the bathroom with my $$$ in it my credit cards and all my important stuff in it. 15 minutes later I realized I had fogotten it. I totally freaked out and ran to the front of the restaurant and asked if anyone had turned it in. The lady I spoke with said yes that it was in Shutters which was right near the bathroom. I went there and the lady behind the counter had it and THANKFULLY EVERYTHING was in there and nothing was missing. I can't believe I was such an airhead. :guilty:

Dinner was great once again. Ate WAYYYY to much. After dinner we went to the show to see a comedy/magician. It was really good. We really enjoyed it. Then we took the boys to the kids club and dh and I walked around and enjoyed the ship. Its sooooo beautiful. We went back at almost mid night to pick up the kids and they said they were not ready to leave and told us to come back in an hour:rotfl2: soooooo dh and went back to the room and sat on the vehrenda and enjoyed the view. LOL

May 17th CASTAWAY CAY!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got up early and went to Tritans for a sit down breakfast. Then walked off the ship and picked out our beach chairs and swam, layed in the sun, had a few margaritas and really enjoyed it all. I wish we could of done more than one day here!!! Its beautiful! I think the kids like this day the best as well. They were excited about seeing the fish swim right up to them.:fish: I was excited that the waiter kept our glasses full . Beautiful place. Our younger ds played in a ping pong tournament and came in 2nd place. at the end of our cruise he received a letter thanking him for playing and a cruise line pin. He was beeming!!:wizard:

The food was great too. We really enjoyed the ribs and for dessert we had an ice cream cone with chocolate chip cookie dough:cloud9: We spent the entire day here then went back to the pool for a little while before getting ready for dinner. Dinner this night was at Parrat Cay, It was Pirate Night and it was by far the BEST!!! The kids loved it, my SIL made them pirate shirts and we brought our own pirate hats plus at dinner they give you the bandanas so everyone put them on too. Even the adults. It was alot of fun. Once again our food was awesome and so was the service. Our two tables seemed to be having the best time!!!! I truly believe it was because we had two awesome servers!!!!
After dinner we went to see the Golden Mickeys and loved it. It was alot of fun. Then we went to the pirate party. It too was fun. The kids really enjoyed seeing Captain Hook. After the pirate party we found some tables to sit at on deck 9 near the soda station and checked out the buffet. When we got back to the tables the kids had fallen asleep at the table. Guess we wore them out LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we had our snack then off to bed we went.

May 18th was our sea day. They had called for it to be cloudy and maybe a Tstorm. It ended up being beautiful and sunny all day. We hit the pools early and there was a calypso band playing right near where we were sitting at the goofy pool. They also did an ice carving demonstration there too. It was cool to see. We spent the entire day there and were starting to get sad at the thought that the next day we would be back at Cape Canaveral.:( :( So I had a margarita and put those thoughts right out of my head. I was a beautiful day, I was on the Disney Wonder with my family having the time of my life what was there to be sad about?!?!?!
We had dinner again this night at Parrot Cay and once again it was awesome. The show this night was Disney Dreams. LOVED IT!!!! We all did. We hit the stores afterwards, bought all our souviners and went back to Shutters and picked out and bought all the pictures we wanted to buy. Also bought my Christmas cards right on the spot as well. They took this awesome pic of our boys as we got off the ship in Castaway Cay. It was just too perfect not to make it in to this years Christmas Card. LOVE IT!!!
We put the boys in the club one last time. They loved it. Dh and I went and had a drink and some quiet time up on deck 9. It was really windy and the sea was a little rough this night. They say the seas were 13 -21 foot that night. It didn't bother us. We enjoyed being out and about.
Oh earlier that night I knocked on a door a few down from us, she was from the Disboard as well, she had her Mickeys on the door. So I knocked and introduced myself, it was Goofygal. It was nice to say a quick hello. She noticed my Mickey on my door too. I didn't go to the meet they had on the first day. We were traveling with 18 people and we just really wanted to be a family this trip. Maybe next time.
We went to bed at 1am and woke early to eat breakfast at Parrot Cay. It was great and it was nice to see our servers one last time. We truly enjoyed them and every detail of the ship. It was a Wonderful Cruise. We had awesome weather everyday, (Even while we were at the parks) and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. No one got sea sick, we didn't take anything at all. We were prepared if we needed it but never did. Even on the last night.

Oh we ordered room service everynight late too. We loved the pizza!!ºoº
Also ordered a basket for my IL's room from Shirley!~!!!!!!!~ IT WAS AWESOME!!!! SHIRLEY YOU ARE THE BEST THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!! My Inlaws loved it!! ºoº

Great report, I cannt wait till 6/5.

Do you remember what movies are showing on the Wonder??

The only one I can remember was Ladder 49. I will have to look it up on my info that I brought home with me. I will post it later!!

Talk about small world, I didn't find your purse or anything... but I think I remember talking to you at the kids club. I was standing next to you at the checkin/out station when you were getting your son's wristband replaced. I remember because you told the story about your server cutting the pasta and mistakenly cutting off the wristband. I remember saying to you, "How close WAS she?" I am the mother of Aaron, the little boy in the Oceaneer Club with the crutches who peeked out from the curtains at graduation!

We too had a WONDERful time, we have re-booked for next October. We wanted to go sooner but we went with family and my sister-in-law is a teacher and simply cannot go in May again. June is very expensive so October it is. Thanks for your report.

Well hey y'all, I was on your cruise too! Hey Suzanne --- I think I bumped into you more than anyone else on the ship!! (Next to Goofygal, of course)

Dislover, I saw Aaron at the end of the Kid's Graduation and thought he was JUST ADORABLE!! I hope you got that on film!

And I didn't find anyone's purse either.

I did find 3 extra pounds though. I lost them pretty quickly after getting home.

I've gotta work on my own cruise report -- we had some pretty special memories that I want to jot down. :cool1:

Yippy Skippy
Hey you!!! We did cross paths didn't we?? :flower: We didn't do the graduation thing as my girls didn't love the clubs so much. I can't wait to read your trip report so I know what you were doing when you weren't bumping into me lol. Oh by the way I saw your picture from Palo's at Shutters-you are tooooo funny :rotfl2: Isn't it time to go back on the Wonder :rolleyes1

Suzanne

Oh my Palo's picture :crazy2:

Yeah, the photographer came by for the Palo's pics and I asked him if he wouldn't mind taking one that was a little more "me". He told me I made his day :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I took a snapshot of the picture in shutter's, but couldn't bring myself to fork out $10 for it.

I can't wait to read your report too! You mean you did other stuff than just run into us? Go figure.

I haven't had time to do a cruise report, but I will do a quick one on here now. It was myself, DH, DS-9 & DS-2.

We drove from VA to FL. We left late Friday night & arrived around noon on Saturday. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach. We had a really great time there. We spent some time by the pool & walked on the beach. We were tired from the long drive, so we were all in bed by 7pm. I know, that's really bad, but we were on vacation.

We got up early Sunday to go to the port. We meet one of our fellow cruising families in the elevator of the hotel when we were checking out. I answered some questions for them, since this was our 3rd cruise. I hope I helped them out. We were at the terminal by 10am, & were sitting in line waiting to board the ship by 10:30. I had pre-registered the kids online, so that was a breeze. Just went by & got the bracelets & the pager. It took all of 5 mins! We sat in line, & finally got to board the ship just before noon. :cool1: We basically spent the day relaxing. No problems with the life boat drill. Our DS-2 wasn't too happy with the vest, but did okay. We ate a great lunch at Beach Blanket Buffet & spent a little time in the room unpacking. The rest of the day was spent sitting by the pools & enjoying the sailaway party. We had dinner at Parrot's Cay. I don't remember what we had to eat, but it was all delicious.

Monday, we arrived in Nassau. We again decided to spend the day on the ship. We thought about going to the aquarium, but decided against it. The kids loved swimming in the pools. My DS-2 decided he wanted to do the slide, but I couldn't find the restrictions, so my DS-9 decided he was going to take him up to see if he was allowed to slide. The attendant said he was too small, but would let him do it once. He was very excited & went down the slide, but decided it wasn't for him, so he was happy with just going the one time. I had some parents giving me really hard looks, but he wanted to do it. Oh well, he wasn't hurt & neither was anyone else. He was just very pround of himself for being potty trained so he was allowed to get into the pools. He just barely did it before we left for the cruise! :earboy2: DS-9 decided he had enough of the pools, & spent some time in the Lab. We told him he had to go to dinner with us, since we were going to be wearing our 1st set of matching outfits. They were light blue & had mickey characters on them. Tropical looking. We ate at Animator's Palette. Again, very good food.

Tuesday, we arrived in Castaway Cay. Went & got a quick breakfast & headed off the ship to spent the day on the beach. DH & DS-9 spent time snorkeling & myself & DS-2 spent time playing in the sand & a little time in the water. I got to speaking with another cruiser about their experiences snorkeling the day before in Nassau. Sounds like they had an awful experience! :sad2: After hearing that story, I do not think I would try the snorkeling in Nassau. We had lunch & decided we had enough sun & went for a bike ride then headed back to the ship. Tonight was pirates night, so we dressed in our 2nd night of matching outfits, dark blue with tropical mickey's, & had our pictures taken with Pirate Mickey & Minnie. Great family pictures!!! Then ate dinner at Tritons & headed up to the Pirate party. Fireworks were great! :bounce: Just took pictures of the buffet & headed off to bed.

Wednesday, was our day at sea. Spent the day relaxing in the sun & enjoying the ship. Did the scavenger hunt - that was really cute. DS-9 spent the ENTIRE day in the LAB. Graduation was really cute! Decided to skip dinner in the restaurant & had room service instead & got all the bags packed & outside before going to the farewell party with the characters. That was a little unorganized, but we got the pictures that we wanted to get & had a great day relaxing & enjoying ourselves.

Thursday, woke up late & headed straight off the ship. Drove straight home to VA to finish out our vacation. The only thing that got us through the disappointment of having to realize our cruise was over, was discussing the fact that we can start planning next years cruise since we booked our 7-day Western next May while onboard. :cheer2: :cheer2: !!!!

:wave2:

Hey fellow 5/15/05 Wonder Cruisers!!! Great Trip Reports! We also had a WONDERful time on our first Disney Cruise!!! I'm so glad we met up with suzanne and yippyskippy. We did run into them a few times on the ship...more than a few times with yippy skippy and family!!!

I'm going to finish up my Trip report on my web page(with pictures) and then post it.

My table mate was in the bathroom the same time you lost your purse, and said someother lady took care of it. SMALL WORLD! LOL

I'm glad you knocked on my door!!! :flower: I had thought of knocking on yours a few times during the cruise, but never did. Were your family members close to us too? Or were they on different floors? I really liked the location of our rooms, and the VERANDAH was GREAT!!!

We had such a great time, we also booked a 7 day cruise. I booked it for May 2006, but will move it back to May 2007 when those rates come out. I booked a room for my parents too!! :cool1:
