Lauralee, I seriously don't know how you got through this without taking off Cruella's head! I've heard of, and seen first-hand, a few really awful WDW experiences, but this absolutely takes the cake. I'm so very glad you bought into the DVC and will get a do-over in a short while!

Painful though it must have been, thank you for sharing your tales with us all. I just know your next TR will be every bit as entertaining and not one bit as frightening! Here's to Dec. and hoping I get to meet you in person while we're there!

I don't know how I didn't strangle Cruella that whole week! Although...I have to admit that I did consider tying her to the tracks on the BTMR! Bwahhhaaaahhhaaaaa!!
At least that's behind me and I can focus on our upcoming HAPPY trip!! I'm STILL trying to get ADR's for December...It's not, GULP, looking good for the home team though!! Looking forward to getting them nailed down (hopefully early this week) and then starting my pre-trip!! I'm so excited - not much longer now!!

DS and even DH were amazed tonight at dinner when I named all the rides/attractions that we didn't even get to while we were there last time...DS is all excited about doing all new things, but said he at least wants to go on BTMR again - that was his fave...

Thanks again for taking this not-so-magical journey with us!

Oh my gosh I hope you get to ride Soarin a hundred times in December. I was waiting for the moment....and ooooooooh it came.... THE FLIP. I truly believe you are blessed with an infinite amount of patience........you deserve X 100. WE will all be cheering for you in December...this is the year of a million Lauralee's dreams!

I've been loosing my mind all day trying to read the final installment but my router had real issues and I finally just got it up....I couldn't sleep till I read the end. Bless you for your patience. I know your December trip will be so much more special after suffering through this trip. I wish we were going to be there the same time in December so I could personally meet you, but I believe we will just miss. I'm looking forward to reading all of your next TR's for many years to come. Just don't ever be tempted to invite Cruella back! She doesn't deserve a great SIL like you! Hugs to your family!

Thanks for hanging in there with me Karla!! I'm sorry I'll miss you in December! I just reserved the 2nd week in April too!! It's all DH's fault...yesterday he said, and I quote in case he reads this later, "NEXT YEAR we're staying at SSR and all I'm doing is playing golf all week"...all I heard was "NEXT YEAR" and promptly logged in to the DVC site and booked it!! I have yet to actually TELL him that part though...so honey, if you're reading...you said I could!! Didn't you!?!?

We're really getting excited for December Karla!! When will you be there? Thanks so much again for reading and I'm really looking forward to my next trip report!!

We were wasting daylight! I told her that we had the ressie’s at Crystal Palace still and if she wanted to use them great, otherwise I’ve got to cancel or they’ll charge my credit card…she said that she’d go…I told her we’d catch up with her later and we headed to Epcot

Did they change the policy. I just booked the Crystal palace today and I didn't have to give them my credit card.

Wow, you did a great job with your TR. After a couple of weeks I'll switch it to the completed board.

There are very few that take your credit card for ressies I'm wonderin where your ADR's really were...and if you're lucky, maybe it's a meal you *didn't* really pay for

I hope the cruise ship is as big as it looks..there's probably a lot of places to hide!!

Actually, DH and I were talking about possibly going on the Disney Cruise next year...I got the video and fell in love with it!! I'm almost jealous of you...

almost... Guess I'll find out afterwards, eh?

MY dh and I did the disney cruise for our honeymoon in 2004 it was wonderful the ship is massive!!! It took two hours of tape to video tour the whole ship. YOu def. should go when all us crazy new jerseyans are on the ship

It's an awesome ride!

My fellow Christmas DIScruisers and I were just talking about doing a 7 day western just after Christmas 2008~I know it's a long way off but 2 years is a good span for me to save up to take the trip...you, on the other hand, could use your DVC towards yours...

This time I'm going with my family (hubby, son, daughter & son's girlfriend), last time I had to leave my hubby and son home, Mom made it a girls only trip. She, my daughter, DD's best friend and I cruised together. Spending a week on the ship in a small cabin with my Mom is *almost* like being with your SIL Not quite so many F-Bombs tho...but I digress....

~I know you and your guys would absolutely LOVE it~

Hmmmm....You have my attention!! Actually, just like my credit cards, all my DVC points up thru '08 are maxed out!! My God...the points are like drugs....I have to work more, so I can get more money to buy more points so I can relax more and be able to work harder so I make more money, to buy more points!! It's scary, Colleen....what if "the DT's" really stands for Disney Trips or Disney Timeshare??

December of 08 sounds like a loverly idea!!! We'll have to shoot for something like that!

Oh - I started my pre-trip for December too!! And as soon as I finish telling DH about the trip I booked for April, I will have to run the idea of the cruise by him!!!

Gosh Lauralee131...you sound just like me. My Disney trips are my habit that I have to support. Forget the alcohol, smokes, drugs or anything else...just give me WDW. I will do most anything to go on that next trip. I get a real high from finding a great deal on the resorts or the airline tickets.

Just finished up and let me say again I am so sorry!! It still amazes me to hear reports like this and that people can actually go to Disney and not have a good time. People just don't understand. I have a woman I work with...ok a girl...she's 19....that laughs hysterically at me regarding anything Disney. Oy!!! And let me tell you, I thought I learned my lesson about taking friends to Disney. Well I didn't. We have a trip planned in Feb with my brother and his girlfriend....guess what? EX GIRLFRIEND NOW!! So Yes, my bf and I have a 2 bedroom villa booked at BWV just for us

Anyway, I was off on my own tangent. You guys are going to have a blast in December and I can't wait to hear all about it!!

side note: we're looking at the December 27th, 2008, DCL 7 day western if you're interested...We've done Christmas on the Eastern and this time around want to do the same but different, hence the NYE Western (The calendar is not official, we (my DISfriends and I) are calculating too far out for the dates to be official just yet.
