Hi everyone,

I had so much fun reading other people's trip reports that I thought I'd try my hand at one.

I've posted it on my blog so for now I'll just post the links here and I'll try to come back and post the reports here so people don't have to click through.

IN short, my family and I had a fantastic time on a wonderful ship. THank you all again for all the information I got from this board that made our trip more special.

Great start to you TR! My girls are 4 & 6 and we will be on the Magic in February, looking forward to hearing about all your adventures. Thanks for sharing!

Enjoying your report! Your embarkation went so smooth!

Thanks. It was really smooth. I think our arrival time was perfect, no wait at all. Our only snag came when we found someone else's tickets and such in our cabin. I guess they switched out and we switched in but the stuff had already been delivered. We gave it to our stateroom attendant and he took care of it. Ours showed up the next morning.

Thanks so much. Don't know if I mentioned it, but our twins are 6 also. They loved the trip, though it wasn't without its challenges. Nothing you wouldn't expect from kids their age who are being pushed to the limit with new experiences. Not a day goes by now that they don't talk about the cruise. You will have a great time. Plenty of more adventures to come.

Great start! Can't wait to read more!

Do you mind if I ask how much the upgrade cost? We are looking to do the same and moving up from the same category you were in the a verandah as well.

Thanks!

Thanks!

We went from a 9C to a 4E and the price was $700. I checked into upgrading online and the price was about twice that much on the website. At the supervisors desk they have a chart that matches your original class with the new one and gives a price. I'm certainly glad we did it, though there was some minor confusions early on because of it.

Great! Thank you so much! We are in a 9A so any Verandah we would be happy with, I just needed some idea of what I might be looking at :)

I love the character breakfast on board. Definitely not rushed at all, and love that there are CM handlers who will take pictures with your camera.

I have been enjoying your report! I can't seem to access Part 3... Is it available? I hope you write more! :) We are going on the same cruise this spring and I am trying to learn as much as I can to maximize our experience.
Yours is the second report (different cruise date) I've read that mentions that the Grand Cayman port of call was cancelled. That makes me nervous about trying to schedule an excursion on our own there. :scared1:

Hi D-Dreamer...I had the same problem, but I was able to access Part 3 from within his blog itself...just look on the right where his other posts from the month are listed.

Thanks everyone for your feedback! I plan to finish the remaining days in the next week. I think I've fixed the links to part 3, I guess I tried to get fancy and did the link wrong.

Still really enjoying your report! :thumbsup2 It has really helped me unwind after a rough week at work. Thanks!!! :)
