When I travel, I prefer to do things and see the culture. For me, lying on the beach would occupy me for about 20 minutes. Then I would be off shooting pics! I guess I spent way too many years as a lifeguard, just sitting and watching water!

I do love lying on a beach, for a little bit, but then I need to do stuff too. I loved Cuba as we had a real good mix of lying on the beach or by the pool, snorkeling in the sea and seeing the sights and experiencing the culture. Thats the kind of holiday I love

ooooooook, well I was waaayyyyy off on destination 3! Not Jamaica but Kenya! Awesome! I just read the book Long Way Down and was quite taken with the idea of traveling thru Africa. I love the look of that platform tent with the white mosquito netting. Make sure you do this one!!

Some of Africa does look beautiful, but some looks pretty scary. Nick went to South Africa in school and says although it was beautiful, he wouldn't want to go back. He didn't feel entirely safe or welcome there, so not sure I will ever visit that part. But Kenya, I definitely will, it looks amazing

Well I thought the last one was pretty hard, but obviously not so much. However, I think this one may be a bit harder so I will give you another clue tomorrow. Make sure you check in tomorrow to see ​

Donny Osmond.!! He actually did a fantastic job. Turned my DH into a fan.

I bet that was quite funny to watch. We had Jason Donovan, he used to be Kylie Minogue's singing partner when they first came out of Neighbours (a soap in which they got married). I never saw it with him in but did see him in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, not quite Dick Van ****

Ok I have no guesses for this one, and I'll admit that my last guess was out of thin air! I started thinking 'exotic' and that was what came to mind! This one hmmmm....

I am guessing somewhere in Italy or Greece.... the buildings don't look very Greek so maybe southern Italy on the Med. Or once again I could be way off again!!

Destination 3 ~​

Type of holiday ~ Croatian Beach and Culture Holiday

Again another one I don't have much reasoning for other than years ago I saw a picture and fell in love with the look of the place. Croatia is a country with a bit of a rocky past, and for that reason has been off the tourist radar in the past. And I think because of that, much of the country is still very unspoilt, in land and in culture. Mum, Sophie and I nearly went a few years ago, and from the pictures I have seen they have some stunning beaches. This, mixed with the rest of the beautiful scenery and the beautiful buildings makes me really want to visit. So far I have done little research in regards to what part of the country I would like to visit, what we would see and do, and where we would stay, but I have seen some very nice boutique-y looking hotels. And since we are not to far away hopefully we will be able to visit soon.

Yes I have been to Corfu. I was only 3 though, so can't remember much, but do have some pretty vivid memories of some things, like pushing my older sister in the swimming pool . The pictures look gorgeous though, and my Mum loved it. I hope you get to go one day.

Croatia looks beautiful!!! I used to work with a lady from Croatia. Don't know why that's important, but you know. Had to give my two cents worth. Where is Croatia anyway???
