Cast of Characters: Bonnie (me!) 43, obsessive trip planner
Shane (DH) 45, just rolls with my trip plans!
Shayna (DD) 18, obsessed with all things Disney. Going to university in the fall
Ben (DS) 15, who states that if he has to hug Mickey one more time, he’s going to scream, but I think enjoys himself more than he cares to admit!
Jarrett (DS) 13, who doesn’t really care where we go as long as he isn’t in school!

Pre-trip:

I began planning this trip shortly after our trip last March break. In the back of my mind I realized that this trip would be the last spring break trip our entire family would be taking together.

I had gotten a really good room rate last fall with the BDP code. POR for $114/night. I was really happy with that until Disney changed everything in the New Year! I spent weeks crunching the numbers to try and justify the dining option, etc., but in the end, decided that keeping the room rate and buying tickets separately was the best option for this trip. At that time, Disney wasn’t honouring the codes, so I would have had to pay rack rate to get the dining option and it wasn’t worth it for 5 adults. Early in the New Year, I purchased the old 5 day hopper tickets from MapleLeafTickets because I knew we would have 2 days left on them and wanted to be able to use them up without the biometrics on the new ones.

we are taking granddaughter who is 15 and grandson who is 13....probably will be their last trip with us ........
