Cast of Characters: Bonnie (me!) 43, obsessive trip planner
Shane (DH) 45, just rolls with my trip plans!
Shayna (DD) 18, obsessed with all things Disney. Going to university in the fall
Ben (DS) 15, who states that if he has to hug Mickey one more time, he’s going to scream, but I think enjoys himself more than he cares to admit!
Jarrett (DS) 13, who doesn’t really care where we go as long as he isn’t in school!
Day 5:

Thankfully, none of the parks had early entry today! WooHoo! Today was our MK day and my DD was especially excited to get going. We went really early and were able to enjoy the opening ceremony at MK. Hit space mountain and fastpassed it as well. Travelled to Fantasyland and were able to do everything without any kind of wait! HM, SM and BTMRR were great, although my guys find BTMRR to be pretty tame compared to some of the coasters they were on at Cedar Point last summer.

We were so happy with everything we were able to do in the morning. We grabbed some lunch at Pinnochio Haus.
Overall rating: B

After lunch, we headed back to POR to change and head out to Typhoon Lagoon. We didn’t have a lot of time, but it’s a tradition to go there and we really wanted to try the new water slides. Way cool! We were only there a couple of hours, but we had a blast! Love that place!

We had to leave to get ready for our PS at Ohana’s. We were a little late, but we were seated quite quickly. Went here last year and loved it and I have to say we weren’t disappointed this trip! Everyone enjoyed Ohana’s better than our meal at Boma! I was disappointed in our server though. He was a little older, kinda difficult to understand and not a whole lot of fun. Food was amazing and we actually enjoyed the grilled meats more this time. Not dry at all…
Overall rating: A+

Grabbed the monorail back to MK to enjoy the late evening hours. We love doing PoC in the evening, and enjoyed Jungle Cruise at night. We were able to do everything including watching Spectromagic and Wishes. DH and boys headed out after Wishes but DD and I stayed for Spectromagic and a few other attractions. We just love to wander around without the boys making snarky comments, etc.! We were disappointed though, that Tinkerbell didn’t fly down from the castle…? Oh well…

Waiting for our bus from MK to POR at midnight was the longest wait the entire trip. So many people were standing around like zombies!

Met with the boys back in the room and enjoyed a wonderful night’s sleep! The beds at POR are great!

we always say that we won't be able to sleep cause we have a water bed at home and after 25 years of sleeping in one we will have a hard time in Disney.....but not so......we hit the bed and we are out like a light......thanks for your review on Ohanas too.......sounds like a great meal
