Julianne you drove through my state, you may have passed my town, not sure if ya did or not.

We passed through Kentucky via I-24 all way to Chatanooga and then went on to I-75. Do you live anywhere near there? I love Tennessee it is just so pretty!!

How sweet. That would have been great if Rob did that with my family but I was already 28 years old and living on my own so it seemed rather silly.

I've played that game quite a few times. And yes, we get the same letter over and over so it gets boring.
Ok good, I thought we were playing it wrong or something!
One time I attempted to count the number of McDonald's on a trip down to Virginia from New York. I gave up as it seemed like there was one every mile....
It is not easy is it? Especially if you want to doze off for a couple minutes, I think I missed 3 when I fell alseep for 10 minutes/

Obviously mountains entertain us because we live in flat world over here where the highest point is probably some sledding hill in the suburbs.

Well, I love the mountains here in NC, Sorry about this Courtney, but I will only be returning to LA to visit my family, never to live.

And Last
enjoyed your trip down from Ill. Where in ILL. are you from, have two SIL who live in Patoka,Ill. And we stayed at one of the All Star Rentals back in 2002 in was so spacious, there was 15 of us on that trip.And we all had our own rooms(adults), with the exception of the kids. Who had to share.

We are from the Northern suburbs of Chicago. I have never heard of Patoka, IL...but Illinois is a big state. And wow! 15 people! No wonder you rented a home, that sounds like a lot of fun though! Thanks for reading!

Ah, the Cracker Barrel counting! I realized when driving from PA to CA that there are about 80000000000 along the way!!! I never realized it was that large of a chain, until then.

Have fun at Summerfest, I hope the rain wasn't too bad (I'm just south of Milwaukee, you probably drove right past me).

I'm curious though, what sort of ballpark cost was the rental house?

Summerfest was miserable! I was wearing jeans and they were drenched from the rain. Then the wind picked up and I was freezing!! I think I would have enjoyed myself much more if I were dry. Milwaukee is a neat city though and has a lot less traffic than Chicago so that is a good thing!

Our rental house which had the 6 bedrooms, I think after factoring in taxes came to about $2300 for one week, however we split the cost among all those in our group so it was pretty cheap.

Love your trip report. We drove to Disney in March and I didn't think I was ever going to get through Georgia, it went on forever.

Georgia truly is the never ending state! They should split it into 2 states so it isn't so unbearable!

Oh I see you finally decided to read it! And dont be correcting me, this is my trip report and I call it duck tape, haha. Did you like how I explained the music game?
