Well it was our big anniversary. Dh faxed a letter asking for a 3rd floor balcony in either of 2 longhouses at the Polynesian. We booked a garden view room. When we checked in we were upgraded to the Hawaii concierge building. I was speechless!! Then we switched to the Yacht Club. Dh likes it there in the epcot resort area so we booked a standard view room there. I never even mentioned anything to them. Well we check in and they say oh happy anniversary, huh? How did they know? Well they said, you are being upgraded to our conceirge floor. In the room were balloons and candy and a signed Mickey and Minnie picture and a towel animal. I was blown away and told the CM I was breathless!! Our balacony was over the front port-cochere and we shared it with 3 other rooms. It was huge. They gave us anniversary buttons, and a free wheelchair (I hurt my leg, that is another story). Other moments were dh got a free chocolate dipped marshmallow for our anniv. at HS Beverly Sunset Sweets, the people in France all sang to us at Chefs De France and lots of CMs said HA to us etc. My ds is also there on his senior trip and so far he said he got a certificate for winning a Mr. Potatoe Head race, (whatever that is about) and he was picked by Jack Sparrow as part of the pirate tutorial. Couldnt have been any more magical for us for sure. Oh we also both got a chocolate ribbon that said HA with our desserts at Coral Reef and at the Yachtsman they gave us a little plate with a few chocolates and candy on it with HA written out in chocolate. Pure Disney Magic!!!!
