Pas yes, chillin now, it's wine o'clock!
I was so tired last night I fell asleep watching TV on sofa, then woke up and couldn't get back to sleep till 3am ugh. But it was a beautiful morning so I got up and went out for a paddle. Nothing like the ocean breeze to knock away the cobwebs!

Heather well I'm expecting a full shirt and shoe count on your packing

Good Morning all!! A beautiful sunny day here . Can it really be June already? Wow, where did the year go . Looking at my count down 80 days and thinking I better start making FP+ plans. In some ways I don't think I like the FP+, it adds extra planning work. I pretty much have my park days laid out, but then to have to think about what time in advance I want to do stuff is just

I know it's a pain. We don't have PH so I really need to make sure at least our MK days are set! Obviously our CRT day is! It is really pretty out! I am at work catching up on the DIS rather than writing a paper...yup spring fever

I don't think I complimented Heather either. My DD8 has really been perfecting ours! I love it, she was the one not too excited about vacation, her and DH miss their Universal

They just opened up more Anna and Elsa FP times (past 5 and up to a half hour before park closing) so I snagged one for our first evening for the whole family, then snagged one for our last day just DD and me. Now to decide whether I keep that one or the one I have for the day before (at a much better time).

Good afternoon!! I can't believe it's already June. July 22nd is the day we can make our FP+ selections. Reading your post reminded me that we hadn't even talked about it.

They just opened up more Anna and Elsa FP times (past 5 and up to a half hour before park closing) so I snagged one for our first evening for the whole family, then snagged one for our last day just DD and me. Now to decide whether I keep that one or the one I have for the day before (at a much better time).

For me, it would depend if the rest of the family wanted to meet the sisters.

We are a family of 6. 3 are small children. We started out at POR before I ever knew anything about free dining. When that came out I jumped on the phone and switched to AoA family suites.
I talked it over with DH and decided to switch to BWI since it was only a few dollars more after we upgraded our dining at AoA.
Now we've found out about some big unanticipated expenses coming in the next few months so need to do this trip as cost effectively as possible. We are now in 2 rooms at POP upgraded to regular DDP.

I feel even crazier when I type it all out!

Don't feel crazy. Our WDW trip last year, I had to have changed resorts over a dozen times. The current trip I am planning with a friend for this September has probably been through that many changes. Just remember, it's not your fault for resort changing. It's Disney's for having so many great options.

We're 99 days from checking into POP and starting our vacation!! It's strange to think how close we are to it! It also helps that our summer is pretty busy making the days and weeks fly by.

Only between trips... then it's game on.
I admit, it was a lot easier to do without when we lived in Hawaii - we went Dole Whip CRAZY while there... never at the plantation (too pricey). The places off the beaten path had ones that were amazing!!!

I've been to Kona about 4 times, never saw Dole Whips, prob a good thing! Can you believe I found one here in town??? My daughters and I were walking around a large marketplace in town, and there it was, a big sign, Dole Whips! Wasn't expecting that! I think they had strawberry too.
Good thing it's at least a 45 min drive in for us, or I'd be there freq!

A bright and early morning, it is!!! Couldn't sleep, so I'm up with the chickens... guess I'm just a bit excited about our trip...we leave tomorrow!!!!!!! We'll be at the World by noon!!!!


And Koh...this is for you (you have't changed, have you??? )

hstrickland - I have to remind myself that all the stress is for the family in Dec... Sept is my 'let loose' trip. DH has been pretty easy-going about what I book for Sept and has actually put his foot down with the fam a few times for Dec. Still, it's frustrating to have four groups trying to coordinate. Luckily, SILs have already sent me their dining and are pretty much under the "whatever we get, great!" philosophy... so that helps!!!

Whew! That sounds like a dream!! Hopefully everything will fall into place for y'all. Good thing they have you for all the trip planning

Thinking aloud here...

Spend the morning of the 4th of July at DTD and have lunch at Raglan Road, head back to POR for a nap/swim time, then to Epcot for the evening. (Have FPs for Illuminations!) May need to push dinner out a bit later...

Thinking of nixing CRT and doing Akershus instead for DD's princess fix...Also thinking of canceling H&V breakfast...

Trying to figure out plans for the other days then...

You have some work ahead of ya....get busy with those changes!!

Not crazy, smart! We did 2 rooms at Pop, I actually started off at GF I think! My kids still talk about Pop and how they liked the pools! You most definitely belong here!

Heather safe travels!! I love WL!! Looking forward to your pics, it's such a beautiful spot! Last stay we walked the beach trail & saw deer. I was hoping to see an armadillo but didn't.
no, I don't think I know the meaning of packing light! it's so hard!! Did you succeed?

Pas no, it's me who has the sickness, it's called procrastination, lol. Just too easy to shove the suitcase in the spare room. And it takes me a few days to get back on track with the time change. maybe if I didn't overpack so much it wouldn't be so onerous a task to unpack

Heather - no more changes so yes, we are still at POR for the first part and WL CL for the second part!! It's just FPs and ADRs that are changing. gotta keep busy somehow! Only 5 more days then I'm done for the summer!! (And only 5 more awful research papers to grade today!). Woohoo!
